Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My friend and I did this tour in mid-March 2024. We had the best day! Started out on a mid-size Gray Line tour bus, with the wonderful Heather as our driver. She knew so much about San Francisco it was actually incredible. I couldn't believe all the stats and details she knew! She took us over the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to Napa. We stopped briefly in Sausalito for a bathroom break before our trek to the first winery - Roche Winery. We started in their little courtyard with a knowledgable bearded guru telling us a little about the winery and our first wine, which was a lovely Chardonnay. He then took us through the fermentation and barrelling process, with different wine tastings along the way. We tried everything from the Chard to a Rose to a Pinot and a delicious Merlot. Then we ended in their courtyard sitting under bright orange umbrellas with a beautiful little garden surrounding us. It was a great way to start the wine tour!

After one more winery stop (Muscardini), we stopped for lunch in Sonoma. We had about an hour or so to have lunch (stopped at Mary's Pizza which was excellent!) and shop around the sweet little town of Sonoma. I would have loved to spend a whole day there, but that will have to be another trip!

Then our final winery destination was Madonna Estate. While I wasn't the biggest fan of their wines, others seemed to really like them and the tour was fun.

We started back to San Francisco around late afternoon. Since we didn't get to stop at the park on our way across the bridge (stopped in Sausalito instead since the park on the other side of the bridge was closed), we stopped on the other side on our way back. Got some great photos of the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge and we even had 2 ladies on our tour whose relative was part of the team who built the bridge! So that was pretty special.

Heather dropped us back off near Ghirardelli Market and we had a quick bite at In 'n Out Burger to soak up some of the day's tastings! All in all, an excellent day of learning about the Bay and Napa area, enjoying some delicious wine, and meeting some great people. Highly recommend!!!

Best wine tour we have done. We have been on numerous wine tours in various countries but today's tour was by far the best. Anthony was fabulous. He was knowledgeable, fun and had the best stories. I would highly recommend Edge of the World tours. The group size is small and the wineries we visited were superb and all with a different feel. The wine tasting was lovely and I even won a bottle of olive oil in a raffle at BH Cohen.

If you are considering a wine tour, choose this one... you won't be disappointed.

This was beyond an amazing tour. Brian is a great and caring tour guide. His knowledge of
San Francisco was a genuine joy to hear and coupled with his jokes and personal experience, made the tour one of the highlights of our trip.
In terms of the food part of the tour, seriously come hungry. Everything was a joy to eat and YOU WILL WANT TO EAT IT ALL!! I personally
bookmarked the places we went to on the tour so we could go back again.
    This is a must do!!!

The best tour ever! Jeffrey was our tour guide and he was the MOST fun! I loved his taste in Indonesian Hip Hop (that’s an in-joke, there was no Hip Hop, don’t worry). I had one of the best days of my entire trip on his tour. Excellent wine, excellent company. I even had an English muffin from the place Oprah gets hers from en route to the Wineries. Even though it was a rainy day, it was still so much fun. Shout out to Brenna and Natalie too at the Wineries in Napa and Sonoma who were so lovely. Would 100% recommend.

We had a great time with Incredible Adventures at Muir Woods and Napa and Sonoma. Definitely worth it.
We visited Muir Woods first and then did wine tastings at Sonoma and Napa. Lovely experience.

Steve was a great tour guide. So much interesting information. So much food! I didn't expect we could get to so many stops in just 3 hours. Definitely recommend.

The bus driver made the tour, he was brilliant. The first winery was the best although the whole tour was in the barrel store and tasting lounge. Maybe it was the time of year but I expected a bit more if a tour of the facility and what happens at each stage. The guy presenting was very knowledgeable.
The second location was just a stop and taste in a gazebo outside the winery - very little in terms of winery information.

My friend and I only had 1 day to explore after a conference in San Francisco. We chose this tour because it includes hotel pick-up and drop-off and lunch is included. We enjoyed awesome views of the Golden Gate Bridge, a stroll through a redwood forest that is more remote and peaceful than Muir Woods. And the wineries we visited were in beautiful settings with great wine and friendly staff. If I return to San Francisco, I will definitely signup up for another tour with this company!

Only thing keeping the rating from being a 5 is the fact the bathroom didn't work in the bus.
    Well worth the money.

I was expecting more wines and better ones. Bottles a little too pricy. AC was not working in the van
