Great place to buy local gifts and souvenirs. Supports the local economy. Nice jewelry and clothes. Not the junk you find at a lot of markets like this.

Everything was awesome!! But the only thing that was really not good is your lawn chairs are way way to Flimsy. As for larger people it's really uncomfortable for them. I would not want to be one of them if those chairs break while I'm sitting on it that would be a huge embarrassment. Maui Arts and cultural Center Should Make an Exception for people who are overweight bring in their own chairs. It's sad I witnessed a similar situation that very night at the front of the stage. where a couple had to be moved to the back because of the chair situation he was too big for the chair. They paid the money to be in the second row up front at the stage they should've just let them bring their chairs in. That was very embarrassing for the couple.

Similar to the Road to Hana but even more desolate. Spectacular views. The road is very narrow and sometimes only one lane for extended lengths.

Most trails from the summit of Haleakala are well populated, and exotic, with volcanic or tropical scenery but Skyline gives you an expansive view of the Big Island, Wailea, Kihei, West Maui mountain, Molokini, Kaho’olawe, Lanai and off in the hazy distance, Molokai. And you’ll be absolutely alone doing it, as I was for four hours, since, although this trail is a noted Mountain biking destination, rental companies do not provide a pick up in Poli Poli park some dozen miles downhill, and arranging a two car shuttle would take more than two hours. Being alone in this desolate, treeless desert has its charms, and on a cloudy day near sunset, it must be spectacular. I was there on a cloudless Monday morning and the weather was brisk and perfect for hiking. Be forewarned, if you plan to do an out and back hike, those five miles up hill at altitude can be very trying.

We had a late evening flight, and were out of our hotel early in the day. After a few activities during the day, we still had time to kill. This was a great place to go and relax and watch the sunset before our flight took off.

Wonderful Museum outlining the Nisei Veterans whom served in WWII, 442nd, 100th BN and MIS . They have many speakers throughout the year and continually change displays, enjoy this part of history very much.

Such an amazing cat cafe. So clean and well designed. We met the owner and we could tell that she was truly passionate about cats. Place was so lovely for both felines and humans. She has the cutest merch too.

Early March means it is not in full bloom. However, we learned a ton. Staff was very friendly. The audio guide was super informative and makes the visit much longer and more interesting. We learned so much about native Hawaiian plants. Small and not as lush as other gardens but totally worth the stop!

Normally not a mall person, but after listening my walk from cruise ship terminal, the AC and cafes with cold drinks were appreciated. Plenty of parking. You can take the bus for $1 back to the pier area.

Visited the Maui Flea Market, which is every Sat 7am-1pm, 50c to get in, some good priced items, but would suggest you walk the whole market before you buy, some things you will find the exact same for cheaper, but highly recommend as there are some bargains to be found. Mahalo.
