Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Eddie BSidmouth, UK27 contributionsPopped in on my way back home so only had limited time but I’m glad I did stop in. The museum is extremely interesting and I had no idea there was so much history from around a small town! The gentleman was super friendly and knowledgeable and a reasonable $5 entrance fee. Definitely worth a visit!Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KateSHot Springs, Arkansas, United States6,197 contributionsEven though the top of the tower was closed to visitors (fires in area? COVID?) the views from the ground & the intermediate platforms on the stairs were incredible. Supposedly one can see Devil's Tower from here, but we couldn't find it, probably because of the hazy/smoky conditions. There are 2 picnic tables & a vault toilet for visitors who want to spend a bit more time here. Easy access via paved roads. Highly recommend.Written 13 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Christopher SWinchester, VA55 contributionsA little hard to get here - but it is definitely worth the effort. There are amazing 360 views from near a 1930s fire tower. Bring a picnic and enjoy exploring the area. There are also some nice hiking/horse riding/ATV trails in the area - so there is lots to explore.Written 28 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eddie BSidmouth, UK27 contributionsArrived in Sundance on route to Devils Tower and popped in after dinner at the Longhorn. Jess (owner) and her brother Dylan were super friendly and had a cracking night along with other friendly locals. A proper bar!Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
