It's a landmark... Beautiful, well preserved and maintained... Right in the center of the heart of the city.
We have toured many mansions during our vacations throughout the United States, and this one is a must-visit site in Wisconsin.

This 15th century chapel was the site where Joan of Arc prayed.
I have been at Marquette now from about 3 years; never get tired walking by or taking some time to view the external and internal Chapel area.

Very beautiful historic sights with neat boutiques, cute shops and fun restaurants to stroll in and out of on a beautiful day in WI!
Lots of river action were restaurants border the Milwaukee river shoreline.. you can view the many different boats going up and down the river.

Walking south 1 mile along the Lake Drive bluff offers spectacular views of the lake, lovely old homes, and the North Point Water Tower, and brings you to the Villa Terrace Museum.
They offer free admission to active military so that was nice for my husband and I. Though the staircase up the lighthouse is a tad tedious it was worth the climb to see the amazing view of the city and the lake.
