This is an amazing geological park with an impressive visitors centre. Unique sandstone formations to wander amongst.

Be aware it is $15 to enter the national park. We came on a not very busy day and it was very awesome to wander amongst these limestone pillars and take photos. We also drove 15 mins up the road to Lake Thetis and did the walk around there too.

Stunning area with a nice beach stretching to the distance, some lovely vegetation with plenty of colourful blooms. Didn't see any local animals, only birdlife sighted were gulls. Great facilities with Information Board, covered areas for the gas BBQs and picnic tables, toilets and interesting walk trails.

We made two visits to the stromatolites. The first time was rather cloudy so we went back when the sun was shining brightly for a better view.

While in Cervantes, it is a short drive to lake Thetis. Allow 30 minutes to walk around the whole lake, otherwise you can walk a short 200 metres to see the wonderful and interesting stromatolites through the water. There is an interesting Dreamtime story for those interested, about the rainbow serpent. Nice place to visit if you are in the area, highly recommend the short trip from the pinnacles.

Quite an informative centre, looks nice and modern despite being quite small. Would like more information on some of the theories how the Pinnacles were formed. The gift shop next door was OK, most of the stuff you could buy even at the Perth Airport.

Nice lookout at the end of Seville Street if visiting Cervantes. White sandy beach but no one present, probably due to the wind and the sandblast effect.

Came across the Wind farm on the way to Cervantes. Tall groupings of wind turbines slowly and silently turning on both sides of the road. An unexpected sight in the farm land for sure.

Great art trail that starts at the corner of Indian Ocean Drive and Cervantes Road.
Opposite the Giant weather vane is a small information bay Carpark where you can pull in to take photos.
This anchor is next to the information stand, fabricated and installed in the 1990s by Cervantes Aluminium and Steel Fabrication.
Great spot for a photo or a quick break with kids on a long drive.

Visited on Sunday 1st December. This is a great place to stop to view Wedge Island and the small holiday town with 350 beach shacks along the sand dunes. The lookout is on the main highway not far the turn off to Wedge Island Beach. Has sealed parking area and a short walk to the viewing platform.

We visited the Lobster Shack on a day trip to the Pinnacles. We got there about 1pm and although it was quite busy we managed to get an outdoor table near the water and with an umbrella. The food line was about a 20 minute wait but then the food was ready in about another 10 minutes. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day sitting by the water. We ordered abalone as we had never tried it and although it is expensive at $40 for 3 abalones, it was really good and we were all happy with the flavor and freshness. We also ordered a full lobster and couldn’t fault that either. Yummo. Well worth the road trip from Perth!

This was one of the best snorkelling tours I've done, and I've done tours all over the world. The staff were all welcoming and great at their jobs. We saw atleast 5 sea lions that day, all swimming and playing around us. Would definitely reccomend.

We were in Cervantes for the Lake Thetis Stromatolites and came across the park when we were in Cervantes. We had a pit stop before driving back to Perth.
The park is located beside the RAC Cervantes Holiday Park and Seashells cafe. It is decently sized with toilets, a gazebo with seats and a partially covered playground. there was also a beach volleyball court near the beach end as well as a small stage in the grassy area.
It looked like a storm surge had crossed into the grass so there was debris on the grass as well as the path behind the beach. The beach was quite close by. The path went to either end of the park and looked like it led to other interesting places but I didn't go too far from the park. It was a nice place for a quick pitstop and toilet stop.
