Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small well maintained park off Wonga road. Good walking paths around small lake and great playground for children. BBQs, toilets and shelters can make it busy on weekends but plenty of lawn space for picnics. Off lead for dogs apart from near playground and my dog’s second back yard. Side path leads to bush park and access to Parkwood dog park.

Anyone who thinks they can swim in this lake, which is surrounded by suburbia, must be a bit credulous. However, the aquatic birds like the lake and there are lots of ducks. The facilities are good and the youngsters will like the playground, which has been upgraded recently. By the way, please don't feed the birds bread, it's harmful for their digestion.

The Ringwood Library has been updated, it is a modern facility next to the Eastland Shopping Center. It also accommodates Maroondah City Council offices. The library is a good place to catch up on the news, or to use your laptop. The cafe is popular, and the library is a quiet place for students to study.

My boys used to go to Crocs in Knox until it close. We tried this location due to the cold spring weather.

    The positives:
    1) undercover parking
    2) easy access for everyone, there is a lift to the first floor entry
    3) *much* bigger than Knox
    4) more play areas and more slides (6 total)
Lots of tables with room to get around.
    5) the tables next to the windows overlooked rows of gum trees. A very picturesque scene.

    The negatives:
    1) once there’s a crowd of people in here, the noise levels are quite high but I guess that may be an indication of how much fun the children were having.
    2) the disabled toilets had a very bad smell. There was no ventilation inside and no air freshener.
    3) Access is through a VW dealership. Go through the road into the dealership and turn left at the T intersection. The signs could have been a bit cleare

Overall, a great place to visit for a few hours especially on a cold or wet day.

Glad to offer my wallet and tastebuds to help out.
Paddle of brews. Liked the wine-like mini goblets.

Large shopping centers such as Eastland are a magnet for shoppers. Eastland serves the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Ringwood, not so on ago, was a semi-rural area. In recent years, it has become a prized portion of Melbourne's outer suburbs, full of houses. Eastland has many retail outlets which appeal to shoppers. The restaurants are popular, you can shop and eat.

This beautiful clock tower is a Ringwood landmark. It is well maintained, and it is surrounded by attractive flower gardens, which change with the seasons. The Ringwood Clock Tower is adjacent to Eastland Shopping Center. The local RSL holds their ANZAC Day Dawn Service here, which is normally attended by several thousand people. The Dawn Service commemorates men and women who fell in the service of heir country.

Wombolano Park was donated to the people of Ringwood for their by a local individual. It has retained its identity as a piece of remnant bushland in the middle of Melbourne suburbia. It's a great place to ramble or walk the dog. It's also a good place for kids to play or kick a ball. Best of all, it's a reminder of what this whole country once was.

This is as small as it comes with a tiny playground in the reserve. Set between the houses, it's popular with the little locals. A slide, fireman's pole, abacus and steps, plus swings, see-saw and springer - it keeps the little ones happy.
There is a shaded seat for parents who want to watch their kiddies.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking.

This collection of parks and sporting grounds is now back in use, following the end of the Covid lockdown. It is certainly an asset to Ringwood and the surrounding area, it's one of the largest sporting complexes in suburban Melbourne. Apart from anything else, the park hosts AFL football, soccer, tennis, cricket and swimming. There's also BBQs and toilets. Parking is usually ample.

Ringwood Salvation Army is part of a worldwide Christian Church. There is a 10-00am service and activities during the week. The service is very good, and the people are very friendly. There is a brass band that helps with the singing, and it is so good to be able to go now and mix with the people as with COVID it was closed. They have programs to help and also a Salvos Store that sells cheap goods. At present at 5-00pm they have an Alpha course and free dinner after a video and talk about Alpha. The Corps officers are Road and Lisa Wynn young and dynamic leaders! There is always morning tea after the service.
