Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A little gem, hiding away in Mitcham. I was surprised it was free. Very well done and it took me an hour to go through the cottage, outbuildings and museum. Had a nice chat with the volunteer at the cottage who was very knowledgable. Definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely place! Natural bushland along the Mullum-Mullum Creek, with several walking/cycling paths. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Some of the large, older trees are labelled.
There's an information office near the western entrance.
Near the fascinating Schwerkolt Cottage (eastern entrance) there are picnic grounds, grassy spaces, barbecues, picnic tables, water refill station.
    Parking available.

if that park weren't there i would be sad bc a school next door and I always see the grade 5/6's playing there and doing work in the park grounds it would just be sad if they couldn't have fun in that park so yeah!

Large park with great facilities for families. Picnic shelter, playground and toilets. Attended family gathering here yesterday. Sunny day and many people but plenty of space for everyone. Car parking off Mitcham Rd near the bowling club was full so drove around the back for easy parking and access to the park. War memorial at the front entrance very respectful and well maintained.

It is only a small park, but it has a few things to recommend it. There is a row of old conifers on one side, plus a shelter with picnic tables and BBQs. A playground and some seating completes the picture, with lawns and paths going through.

On Sunday afternoon we popped into to hear the music by Bradley Jay and we weren’t disappointed, he was fantastic. A wide range of beers on tap and byo nibbles platters made this a great venue. Kids are well catered for too with lots of board games. Great afternoon.
