We found great results, but some are outside Rochdale. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to Rochdale.

While there, we had the opportunity to go onto the balcony, with a view of the cenotaph, and gardens.
There is also a virtual tour available on the Rochdale town hall site.

I've been a regular the past 2 years at the previous site and now at the Ela Mill in Bury (10 mins walk from the market and bus stops by the Rock shopping centre).
We managed to get free parking on site as we had arrived early.

The church is situated at quite a high point of Middleton, the view from there is absolutely stunning, you can see the local town getting on with its life and see further beyond towards Oldham.
A rare, in this neck of the woods anyway, wooden tower this is one site not to miss.

The view was good, close to the pitch but some elevation, seats comfortable, no obstructions on our part and stewards treating you like humans.

Tons of happy animals to pet, feed and admire, lovely country views, two playgrounds, helpfully-placed hand washing stations and picnic tables.
There is plenty of places to have a picnic, or there is a small food wagon on site.

Stunning views you can see for miles, George Kellsall bookshop in L'boro village has a good selection of inexpensive walking pamphlets for the area too!
Drove over Blackstone Edge with family on a lovely evening, its so nice to see this unspoilt view of the moorlands as you drive up to the summit where the White House Pub is situated.

Fabulous views of many of Greater Manchester's towns plus Manchester city centre where you can see the Beetham Tower standing proud, the UK's only skyscraper outside London.
Such a nice place to walk with family and friends it's a short challenging walk but could do with a cafe at the top of some sorts so you can grab a cuppa at the top and look at the view!
