The staff were very pleasant and helpful, there was plenty of parking and all the rooms are delightful with nice views of surrounding parkland and trees.
Facilities are on site with a cafe opposite in the walled kitchen garden.

We stopped off for lunch at the local Turkish restaurant (which was delicious and as a bonus had a view of the vortex - yes!) and then went back later in the day.
It is great for selfies and can consider itself the prominent Ilford landmark and one of the very best in the whole of London.

Wonderful place.A little exotic forrest on the rooftop of a metro station.In the both ends there are two terrace restaurants with nice views over the docks.

There are plenty of information boards giving the story of the building, the engines, and their development and the volunteers on site are always happy to answer questions.
There is a car park but we arrived at CPS via a guided walk organised by the Thamesmead Trust, which was about 3 miles long and a good way to arrive at the Pumping Station, with its open views across the Thames.
