The best time to visit is in winter (December, January, February), which is freezing in Pyin Oo Lwin (May Myo) at that time. However, if you'd like to get away from cities in summer, it will also be great because during that time, the weather is neither cold nor hot, but I don't recommend to go there in the rainy season. On the nice spot in the garden, you can have a picnic especially near the lake and it's a big compound, so the children would be so happy to play and run around. Furthermore, there are various kinds of animal species that you'll feel like you're in another world.
Moreover, the flower festival is held from December to January in the National Garden, so you'll see various kinds of flowers in one place. Only one problem - crowded with people and it is a bit of nightmare to get through many people in the festival.
In addition, can get hundreds of photos with a breathtaking views.

If you view the falls from the top you will pay 1000 kyat to park your vehicle. You can view the falls from several overlooks, each separated by 25 to 50 steps.
To view the falls from the bottom you take a different road and hike down the mountain for about 45 minutes. There is a temple, in several water pools, at the bottom of the falls. It is exciting for the children as the mist flows over them. Well worth the hike if your children are energetic

Good for adult but not so suitable for young kids to go into deep cave channel.
The time our family went into the cave, we have 3 kids to handle so we decide not to go in further.
We just went into the first view of the cave only. Wasted but no choice coz do not want to take risk with kids.
It's is safe to go into the cave. Only you need to remove shoes, slippers & scandals due to religious place.

I went there with Rotary Club Vocational Service Committee members to learn how the firm is sharing its GMP practice with local farmers. The firm is on 45 acres land. 2 buggies with MMK 10,000 rent available but I would recommend walking in the morning sun on visitors' walkway. The staff are well trained, friendly. Introductory video of 10 minutes is complementary before a MMK 3000 visit.

It's a really nice place to visit and would recommend it as a stop off to anyone visiting the area but wouldn't recommend going there just for this as it can be done in less than an hour.

It is a HUGE orange farm.
There will be entry fee. With a tuk-tuk like vehicle, they will take you to the farm. Picking up the fruits is available and you might need to pay for what you pick up.
There is a cup of free orange juice.

It is also called B.E. Falls & Hampshire Falls. I had not been there for 2 years. On this trip, I was surprised that it is beautifully transformed into an theme park, complete with coffee shops, snack shops and restaurants. The main attraction is glass bridge. Entrance fee is MMK 1000 only but there is extra entrance fees at every attraction.

The place may not look much but the service for a healthy massage is excellent. They have Thai/Chinese style massage, today I came down with a sprained neck and surprisingly they actually fixed the problem for me. The place should be visited at the end of the trip in Pwin Oo Lwin. It really help to refresh.
