A stunning monument with breathtaking views and lovely architecture which is a real tribute to just how incredible the history of Spain as a nation is.

Exceptional view
Paseo de Almeria Almeria, Spain
Beautiful views and sunsets
Almerienses are not necessarily friendly, go for the seafood and panoramic views, the beaches and relaxation.
Almeria Almeria, Spain
Lovely beaches, clean water, excellent views, very well linked to other touristic attractions near by, great restaurants on the beach, small and quiet city, perfect to disconnect and relax.
Cathedral of Almeria Almeria, Spain
From the outside the cathedral looks like a fort with very thick walls, together with the palm trees outside on the square this makes for an incredible view.
Once we worked out how to get to it this house of worship it is a peaceful place to view the religious side of Almeria, there is a charge to go in for visitors.
Castillo de Santa Ana Roquetas de Mar, Spain
Cute castle, lovely artwork inside, superb views of the beach and the harbour on top.
It's free to enter and was extremely interesting some local history with a visit what a brilliant view from the top and each room covers a different topic in each room.
A free trip to view some Spanish history.
Lovely Spanish man that showed us round a very interesting site.
Cable Ingles Almeria, Spain
Also we read you should view it in the dark as it is lit up, but unfortunately when we did return in the evening, it was not lit up which was a shame.
Plaza Mayor de Vera Vera, Spain
I enjoyed seeing the historic sites of Vera and visiting the small museum and tourist center.
There are spaces to park up there, free of charge, so do park up and walk around: there are railings making it safe, but looking at the view from the monastery it is truly worth the journey and very spectacular.
The adventure starts with the twisty road out of Albox up to the Monastery, the views get better the higher you climb.
