When you're a Brit there's not much more that screams American than going to a drive in movie, so we're delighted to be staying right next door to this one when we visited Burlington. There are multiple screens, all playing up To date movies with 2 separate shows a night. Aside from struggling to stay awake for a 10pm show we loved the experience (maybe keep the windows shut, few midgies around!)

Small and excellent museum with lots of artifacts from wars where Vermont sent men and women to fight. Definitely worth a stop; right off Rte 89. Free admission, donations welcome. (Note, choose the GPS route off Johnson Ave since this is the gate that is open to visitors)

We did not expect to see such a tour de force. The 4 actors were outstanding and this play was a delight to attend. I wish we were closer. I would come back again....and again....

We started on the bike trail here....great clean rest rooms, shade and what a beautiful ride both ways...to the causeway and into Burlington.

We had a few minutes in Colchester and took advantage of the great paths here. The property is very well maintained with lake views and small beaches. To access the beach requires a half a mile walk. It isn’t strenuous, but it does keep the crowds down.

This is a unique library where you can get an unparalleled view of the history of the people and families of French-Canadian Vermont and Lower Canada. Because of its unique focus, it is more of a documentary museum.

Great marina and storage facility. Peter, the new manager, is making some great changes. Bruce, the former manager, was a great guy, but Peter is updating a lot of updates and improvements. Friendly to DIY and outside vendors. Reasonable rates, super accommodating. Friendly crew, good communications to both slip customers and storage customers. Plus, good protection from all directions... Kitchen and grills available. Very nice and clean restrooms. Easy walk to restaurants, bar, provisions, marine hardware, fuel, creemees, liquor store, breakfast, and more. Very solid operation.

This is a three mile long trail that winds all the way around Colchester Pond & take about an hour, maybe a touch more. It is well maintained for the most part, mostly easy walking on packed dirt or wooden planks through the woods with a few uphill climbs, but very do-able. Most of the trail offers views of the lake (swimming, sunbathing & some boating allowed), either from the forested area or the meadow that is near the end/beginning. We saw a ton of different mushrooms. There is parking, but not a ton of it.

We are horrible bowlers so it was nice to be terrible in a fun place! I was pleasantly surprised at the low price. Nice thing to do when you can't ski!
