We were staying in Page and on the way back we stopped at Lone Rock Beach (right off the hwy back to Page- entrance fee, but if you have national park pass, it's included) to cool off in the cold water.

There are places to park and walk to the beach, there is 4 wheel drive and ATV trails on the beach and the hill behind it.
