Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- volcanogirlHouston, TX16,386 contributionsThis place is absolutely beautiful and really well maintained. We loved wandering around the botanic gardens; there are lots of pretty plants and flowers, nice water features and fountains, statues, and even a small lake. Many birds, butterflies, lizards, toads, and turtles. Everything was lush and green despite the heat. We particularly loved the gorgeous rose garden. Nice pathways that are easy to navigate and some neat features like gazebos and stone archways. Everything flows really nicely and feels natural even though you can tell a lot of effort has gone into making this place so wonderful. We were surprised to find that it was free. Across the street is the arboretum portion full of trees, pavilions, and a children's play area. I only wish we had discovered this place sooner and look forward to coming back in different seasons.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RandyKingwood, TX78 contributionsGreat place close to the city where you can get out and exercise. One of the best trails in the area. We go there often and hope the next part of the trail is finished soon. So far we can do 32 miles out and back on our bikes.Written 11 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John T11 contributionsAs we all know it is hot in August, but the grandkids wanted to go. There are shade trees and some other shaded areas if you get there early. The kids loved the animals and just the open areas where they could run and climb.Written 6 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rather_NomadicPanama City, FL1,801 contributionsLocated on the backside of a business park but they’ve added a great outdoor patio and grass area. Nice selection of various beer styles in small and large pours. The beers I tried were definitely above average, especially the King Cake stout. Friendly service and average prices. They also offer beer to go. They have a food truck schedule posted. Kid and pet friendly. Great craft beer option north of downtown Houston, especially if you’re near IAH.Written 29 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chrisinkingwood2Houston, TX5,630 contributionsMy wife and I went for my cousin's wedding. The church is quite nice inside and the priest did a really nice job officiating their wedding, he kept it light and added some nice comments.Written 14 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chrisinkingwood2Houston, TX5,630 contributionsThis is a great venue for all kinds of field sports from football to soccer as well as track and field events and the stadium features a state of the art score board with an 18'5 x 50'6 high definition video board and a 4' x 38' scoreboard. Currently the largest "High School" video board in the country!
The seating capacity is 10,200!

That wasnt the brightest idea, but everyone had a blast (no pun intended)
The place is set up with at least three courses -
One is a traditional inflatable close quarters range
One is a very large range with boats and tires and spools and crates for cover
One is mid range with buildings and tires/blocks
They offer some inventive games and tailored it to the kids video game experience - which they loved
