Really interesting museum! I didn’t know much about the JFK assassination before coming and I learned a ton. It’s also very somber to see the actual area where the assassination occurred. When I’m Dallas it’s a must see!

Dallas Arboretum is a beautiful place. The volunteers are friendly and give free rides to their visitors. They are very knowledgeable of the plants, restaurants and the historic home on the grounds. You do not ride from one place to another, they entertain you with stories and even gave us a side trip because of a question we had asked!
The house tour is included in your entrance fee as well as the tasting booth which give us a taste of the gardens. I tried pineapple ice cream and it was refreshing.
The gardens are beautiful with formal fountains and wilderness creeks. They had two very large peacocks shrubs and their tails were the flower beds.
The sit down restaurant had delicious food and the service was great. We enjoyed our day.

Great place to see the whole city. View was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was pretty crowded. (We did go on a Friday during sundown). Other than that we had an amazing time and enjoyed our time there.

The Library and Museum is located on the SMU campus in the northern part of Dallas. Parking is available but we chose to take the DART to the Mockingbird station. From there a free bus to and from the museum is available. Admission is USD 26 with discounts for children, seniors etc.

The museum is large and modern, and the surrounding park and gardens green and nice. Modern 3D technology is used to give visitors a first impression in the hall area, where some of the President’s paintings are also on show.

Several interesting exhibits and some good films too. All in all a great museum with much to see.

Very friendly and helpful volunteers throughout the entire facility.

My friend is visiting my husband and I from California and I decided the perfect adventure for her today would be to visit the Perot Museum! It was everything we both could have hoped for, and more! It exceeded our expectations beyond words and stimulated our minds from beginning to end.

What topped off this incredible experience was the level of customer service received from all your staff. They could not have been more supportive! I was able to receive one of your wheelchairs for my friend, and when it was time to return it, Officer McQueen suggested she follow us to our car so my friend could stay in the wheelchair, and Officer McQueen said she would return it for us. This was beyond any level of care and support we could have every expected! She was such a caring support to us and represents Perot Museum with that very high standard of excellence you for which you are known.

Continued success dear friends...I/we will see you again soon!

This is one of the few museums where visitors get a chance to destroy sixth century Greek amphoras and pots dating back to 450 BC. Those who want to get the most out of their visit, can also have a go at the Kylix Herakles and Nemeon Lion statue or a Batah Kuhuh Alligator Gar fish. I can only recommend a visit, especially if you are upset with your girlfriend.

The Cattle Drive Sculptures are located on Pioneer Plaza in the Convention Centre district of downtown Dallas.
It is huge with tree riders and about 50 bronze steers, crossing a small waterway. The artwork is very beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

After visiting the Sixth Floor Museum you should walk around the Delaney Plaza. You have a ground view of the two X's on the roadway. You can walk on the Grassy Knoll. You can walk by the fountains at the top of the hill. This area is all free.

We stopped here as we were riding the McKinney Ave trolley. We took advantage of the food trucks, the splash pad, playground, blocks, ping pong table, and the reading room. Our kids have been begging to go back.

I saw a lot of murals that I enjoyed. I walked a tiny shopping street for the pedestrians. It reminded me of Yokocho in Japan. Yokocho is alleyways off to the side of the main street. It was an early morning, but if I could walk at night, I could see a lot of people.
I really loved this area. Please stop by some coffee shop, then enjoy your zen moment!

White Rock lake is my home and my safe space. I'm there just about every day either running or on the bike.

Stay alert down here at night, it gets a bit rowdy but is a lot of varied fun. There is music, food, and interesting folks. Parking is extra, but worth it.
