- Chip M5 contributionsMy wife and I just spent a beautiful afternoon on Parrot Mountain. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The grounds were immaculate and very beautiful. We at times felt like we were in the middle of a jungle, but the stars were the beautiful birds that seemed to enjoy interacting with us as much as we did them. Some talked and others danced to show us how much they loved our company. It’s not a strenuous walk but is inclined some. A special shout out to Terri, she was so friendly and informative answering all of our questions. She even gave us a golf cart ride back to our car! We’ve been coming to PF for over 20 years and somehow didn’t even know about Parrot Mountain. You have a audio device on your your tour and can take as long as you like on your walkthrough. Although I got discounted tickets online I think the ticket prices are too high, it's very popular so I understand why they charge what they do but Imo it should be more affordable. - AustinNewport, MI14 contributionsIt is such a fun place! There are rides, restaurants, pools, arcades, and little shops. It is a great place for a vacation, it has a Margaritaville hotel there too. The hotel has a pool and hot tub on the roof and such a good view of mountains! If you’re a little bored and want to go someplace else go to the Smokey Mountains. I loved seeing the 1920-1940 gangster era, along with some of the artifacts they've collected along the way. The artifacts ranged from Bonnie and Clyde to the presidential assassinations to 9/11 was educational as well. We really had a great time here! - H..East Midlands, UK157 contributionsI have visited many water parks and this is a very good one. The attractions are very good and there is a good selection of food and drink on offer. The toilets are well maintained by the park but because people can’t use them respectfully they could do with more regular cleaning throughout the day. The lifeguards are not so great. They are very good as looking like they are watching, with very pronounced head movements but just blow a whistle for everything and when two children got into difficulties in the wave pool today they did not notice, my husband (an ex-lifeguard) rescued them with no reaction from the staff. The performers are very talented at singing and dancing, and the themes of faith family and freedom are there in the show! I heard someone near me say they weren't expecting a few Christian songs - well it is a good thing this show has them in it!
