Took my husband here for a birthday lunch on the recommendation of my niece and her friends. We absolutely loved it! We were met at the door and taken in for wine tastings then sat down for a really gorgeous meal. The service was excellent! The food was just beautiful. After lunch we went to the chocolate factory, wow! Chocolate and ice cream tastings all made on site. We very highly recommend this gorgeous hidden gem and will be back as soon as we can!
    PS. Wines are excellent

Lovely ambiance over looking the winery. Menu is fixed price degustation with option of wine matching. Beautifully food presented by waiters who explained each course. We had early sitting and felt a bit of pressure to finish each course but took our time with each.
Delightful lunch for a special occasion

Delicious menu offering at a picturesque location. A hidden gem with cosy fire place atmosphere and friendly service. We enjoyed a glass of the locally made Pinot Noir and met the winery pet and mascot Archie !

I'm not a cider drinker so I can only pass on feedback from the companion who was. And they were very happy with their well priced cider tasting paddle and the apples they bought to take home.

    HIDDEN GEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it has not disappointed, we've now visited 5 times in a few months! Very chilled vibe, BYO food, great views and fantastic wines. The wine tasting was great, lead by the amazing Sarah.
    Dog and child friendly also!
We will be back, again and again and again. :) xxxxxxxxxx

A lovely, peaceful place to spend the afternoon away from the frenzy of Easter Sunday on the Peninsula

This is a lovely walk, especially the fern gully. It’s about 10% boardwalk and 90% bush track. Parts of the track are very narrow and a bit overgrown, plus you need to step over a couple of fallen trees. The map makes the route look straightforward, but there’s some side tracks that aren’t on the map. We got lost at one stage but found our way back to the carpark eventually.

Just got back from an absolutely magical afternoon at Avani Wines, celebrating my wife's birthday.
They were running a pop-up restaurant event with chef Harry Mangat of Biji Dining. Having been spoilt by the quality of Indian food in our native UK, this is the one cuisine that our new home-city of Melbourne hasn't - in our experience to date - nailed. How wonderful to be proven wrong this lunchtime!
We particularly enjoyed the courgette 'bhartha' starter, the king prawns in South Indian spices, the main course of lamb and the innovative strawberry and cream pudding with it's hint of cardamon.

As we had arrived early for our meal, we had time for some wine tasting and loved the aromatic flavours of the Amrit pinot gris, chardonnay and the pinot noir.

The setting for the pop-up restaurant was picture-postcard, with gorgeous view towards the vineyards and the hills.

A magical lunch out and an experience not to be missed.

This gallery is like no other on the Mornington Peninsula. Michael is known as ‘The Red Hill Ambassador’ and this title truly represents his knowledge and passion for the area. His Gallery is a wonder for lovers of art. With a striking array of watercolours and acrylics, his work beautifully evokes this unique landscape and are sold internationally. Spend an interesting hour or so viewing his work and make sure you chat to him about his history and love of place. Not only will you be inspired to buy a piece of his work, but you will also leave with a sense of the uniqueness and beauty of this special part of Victoria.
