Excellent & very beautiful location for a walk or run. There's a large playground, accommodating all ages + BBQ & toilet facilities. The lake is full of bird life. From Oct-April there's also a local sailing club every Sunday (Lakeside Sailing Club - Pakenham)

How beautiful! What an incredible addition for Pakenham. From the top of the reserve you will get encompassing views of the greater city... and there are shaded picnic tables. The garden beds are utterly amazing with wonderful flowers and interesting plants shaped to add visual appeal- a mixture of native and imported plants.

There are stairs leading down to the water and I have NO doubt that people who love cardio would love the chance to run up and down these. Although for me personally- I found that I needed to rest halfway up. ( I was not excited- but the cat was)

I followed the stairs down to the water and thought it was stunning ... shady trees with benches to sit on. Bird song filled the air and it was all very peaceful. There were families fishing along the waterway which I found interesting...but as Norm said, " Life - be in it".

Whatever your reason to be here... it's a beautiful way to get back to nature when you live in the city.

A really popular walking trail which follows the old Aqueduct. An easy walk particularly for young families and dog walkers. There are no drinking facilities so make certain to take your own water.
Parking is tight particularly in the morning and late afternoon.

Nice park for the kids and adults. Lots of things to do and see, and bbqs with undercover seating available. A great cafe within 50m tops it off as a good spot to plan a family outing.

A delightful, natural and well-planned reserve equipped with flush toilets and a new shelter with two enamelled tables with bench seats. The silence is deafening and the bushland carefully preserved with defined walking tracks through pristine native bush of varying gradients. Better mapping and signage would help but the current arrangement is less intrusive, I appreciate. A great place to take foreign visitors within east access of Melbourne. Best to enter via Matters Rd, off Paternoster Road - easier driving.

Amazing new venue in Pakenham. Cant believe its taken so long for a place like this to pop up in the local area. Get down and check it out, the atmosphere is amazing and the beers are top notch!

The park is extensive and has a number of Council buildings around it - including the swimming pool, men's Shed, Community Pantry, Skate Park, and Library. The playground is colourful and interesting, while the grassland is extensive.

What a beautiful garden to visit. When we visited, new plants are kept and flowers are yet to come. So one more visit is needed.
But a beautiful place with a small lake in center. You can walk around it.

Good place to have a snack with friends

A beautiful place to go for a walk. 4.5km total.
You will not feel that you walked around 5km . The place has a hanging bridge. A water fall and lot more.

You will feel really relaxed after the walk

Visited with our two primary school aged kids and had an absolute blast. It was our second time and we did Pop’s Lolly Emporium… will definitely be back to do the 3rd room!

No Swan for me. I did see a couple of Duck species and Moorhens, with a lot of Wattlebirds in the trees. It is a pleasant lake with a shelter (gazebo) and other seating from which to view the water action. Other parks might have BBQs and drinking water, but this park is just for short visits.
