Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The artwork on the silo pays homage to the nearby Little Desert and its diverse flora and fauna. The main feature is of the Australia Hobby bird which is smaller than other falcons and the detail is amazing and really makes the silo stand out. Credit goes to artist David Lee Pereira.

Found taking a photo of this silo challenging due to its location and time of day when l was there around 12.00pm. As the sun is just above silo which did cause me problems with shadows to silo. Found the best angle was from the main viewing area.

Had no problems using Google Maps to find this silo.

We didn't expect that there was a small fauna park here. Roos, a (sort of) friendly emu and a sweet deer. Make sure you pop in for a look. Also a new excellent playground for the kids.

Billy Ho is a nice walk meandering through native scrub with many native birds to see also, It is easy terrain under foot. A list of the native plant species is available and has a visitors book to sign at the entrance.
    Good for a travel break!
    Casual <40mins loop walk
Make sure you have some water if visiting during the spring/summer months.

The Kaniva Puppet shop is a treasure in the extremely friendly town of Kaniva. I stopped on my return through Kaniva after a road trip to learn there was a Christmas in July workshop next day. Julie ran a very professional and extremely enjoyable workshop. She ensured that we all left with a very beautiful Christmas Wreath.
My eye constantly alighted on a another unique hidden treasure. No only does the the store abound with an amazing range of puppets from all I we the world she also has. Cosy Christmas room with a unique range of for the Christmas collectors such as I.
Thank you Julie for another magical memory from my travels

Luckily the bureaucracy around today didn’t exist in 1879, otherwise this great water hole wouldn’t exist. Dug by the landowner at the time to provide a water source for his stock it’s now one of the most popular camping spots in area. an w peaceful spot amongst the trees.

TIP: no toilets or rubbish removal. you need to take out rubbish when leaving

Paid a visit to Bills Gully that was just well timed with lots of rain that had recently fallen. The gully had a good lot of water and lots of wildlife which made it very interesting. The old Bills Gully hall was just down the road. The surrounding bush was worth a few hours walk, yet i wouldn't camp overnight but it is possible. Well worth a visit to see nature.

Lovely, quiet spot. A pity people have driven in in the wet and chewed up the tracks. There are tables and benches to use. No facilities though. BYO everything.

I have eaten at the Purple Starfish Community Shop on numerous occasions and it has always been amazing. The food is all homemade and extremely tasty.

I loved how these sheep were all up and down the town. I didn't photograph them all but loved seeing them. the photo I took was of the ones outside the information centre.
