Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Andrew is such an excellent guide: we were a group of so different people, from neary all continents, from all ages. And he made everyone laugh and feel happy. He is self-ironic and interested in life and motivation of each person. And he plays guitar and bluesharp. The winemakers he has chosen are really passionate and all of them produce excellent wines. Great experience!

Awesome exposure to a variety of the Yarra Valley vine yards and Wineries. Matt was a great tour guide that provided a good overview of sites and places along the way. Good tuneage... but no Nickle Back 😉. It was a great wine tour and we recommend it to anyone interested in a beautiful day trip.

The tour was fun. Matt was very accommodating and informative. The drive was just right on time. He gave us enough time at each stop.

What an amazing day right from the start when we were collected from our pickup in Melbourne by a great guy called Peter ! he made our day run smoothly and explained how the day worked so everyone could understand .. this was a Multi culture group.
Train ride absolutely awesome !! you get to hang your legs outside of the carriage throughout the journey, Healesville Sanctuary was great and enjoyed the Bird show. Back in the Mini Bus With Peter again and off to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery .... YUMMY !!! Bubblegum Ice cream awesome but so many more flavors.
Chocolate OMG you name it they pretty much have it , Pre packaged to pick your own so worth the visit !! then back in the Mini van for hours drive back to Melbourne ... awesome day may laughs shared along the way !! Thanks again Peter .
    Would do it again .

This small group private wine tasting tour in Yarra Valley was wonderful. Our driver Paul picked us up at our hotel in Melbourne. We travelled about one hour in a comfortable newer Mercedes minibus with a total of 11 passengers. Each of the 5 wineries we visited served 5 or 6 different wines to taste. All of them were very good. Lunch was included after one of the tastings and it was excellent. There was also a cheese pairing with each wine at the last winery we visited. I would highly recommend this tour.

First and foremost, Danny. He is personable, knowledgeable, relatable across all age groups, considerate, polite and a very good driver. He kept the tour on track while providing timely, well presented details moments before we stepped off the small bus.
Our group was thirteen with nearly an even mix of older and younger travelers. It was a comfortable size group which made sharing the experience with others easy. The tour followed a chronological sequence from older wineries to newer ones. There was a nicely timed meal at the second winery which helped offset the two tastings. The salmon was remarkable paired with a glass of wine selected from the tasting. There was a nice stop at a family oriented chocolate factory that also had a nice variety of ice cream. I enjoyed the Honey Crisp. The last winery was the most modern, most visually appealing with a nice selection of wines. We were able to request an additional taste of their trophy winning Pinot Gris. The final stop was a distillery featuring four well presented gins. All the wineries were not crowded which made the experience more personable. I highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous! I'm so pleased to have booked this tour for my mum and me. My mum is visiting Australia for the first time, and this has been her favourite tour.

Our guide, Rob, is absolutely gorgeous. Very personable and knowledgeable, he kept us entertained and informed while also allowing us some downtime on our own (e.g., at the Sanctuary or napping in the car). The car is fantastic to travel in.

We were lucky to be in the company of other lovely guests with whom we had a great time.

My mum and I loved the tour's structure: it picked us up not too early but timely enough for us to enjoy everything at a nice pace (she isn't fit and walks slowly, needing breaks—she was completely comfortable with the tour program).

The visit to the sanctuary was fabulous, Rob explained to us everything he knew and allowed space for us to tell stories, fostering dialogues, so it was more like hanging out with friends than being on a tour - in a good way.

The fine-dining lunch was sensational - and the location! We are still dreaming of it. Rob never rushed us, and again, by lunch, it all felt like sharing a meal with new friends - it was so lovely and comfortable. Rob played a big part in making sure that everyone felt that way.

The wine-tasting experience was great as well, with beautiful locations and highly experienced staff. I'm not much of a drinker myself but my mum is, and she appreciated the Australian wines so much.

Compared to other tours, this one is not expensive and is worth every cent. I give this tour 5 super stars!

The driver Danny was absolutely amazing! He was very charismatic and knew all about the local wineries in the Yarra valley. The views from the wineries were beautiful and we had plenty of time for tastings and to relax and enjoy the scenery! Lovely tour, would 100% recommend!

Our family joined the Yarra Valley package with breakfast on January 1, 2025, and it was an amazing experience as the first rays of light shone upon the horizon on a brand new year. The staff were incredibly kind, and a special shoutout goes to our guide, Raine, from Taiwan, who also speaks Mandarin. Our pilot, Steve Buckley, is a funny guy whose jokes kept the whole atmosphere lively.

I want to mention that some people have commented about the packing of the balloon after the flight and the size of the basket relative to the number of passengers. The packing is purely voluntary, but it is a nice experience to participate in, and it is not arduous work at all. Even my 8-year-old daughter lent a hand. As for the basket, our tour had over 20 people; it was a bit tight, but certainly not to the point where you would feel uncomfortable.

The breakfast buffet at Balgownie Estate was excellent and on par with a 5-star hotel. This company also has a dedicated app for information, contact, and downloading flight photos and videos, which is a nice touch.

We spent 2.5 hours seeing what animals we could find. Some were hidden (dingo, wombats) and some you have to search for (wallabies). It was easy walking with stops along the way.

Simply the best wine tour we have ever done. Mark was an excellent guide and looked after us Wonderful venues and great food to go along with some stunning wines and ended with free time in Healesville and a visit to four pillars.
So good we immediately booked to do again a couple of days later as its the best way to get to multiple venues in a day. Kurt was our guide second time and he too was wonderful
Thanks guys for an awesome two days

Together with my elderly mother and teenage daughter, we had an informative and fun tour of Melbourne. Our guide was Jasmine and she was fantastic. A superb driver, flexible waiting for us as we stopped off at an enticing cake shop walking Acland St and so interesting with her local knowledge. It was a great day for all three of us, even in the rain! Thank you Jasmine.

We went as a group of seven and loved the customizable itinerary! Exploring kangaroos in the wild was a unique experience, perfectly complementing our winery hopping adventure. Most importantly, Francois was the best guide we could have asked for!
