Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very pretty national park, there are lots of walks through here that we didn't take, we were just driving through. I found it a bit strange how we would drive through the national park and then we would drive through farmland.

The lake wasn’t pink but it’s close to the highway with plenty of parking so worth a visit if Yu happen to drop by. Try access to the lake is not pathed so not suitable for wheelchair access or rainy days. The lake smelt like rotten fish but apparently its bacteria in the water that gives it a pink colour. There is a shaded sitting area and public toilets.

We mainly visited this location for Bird Spotting and weren’t disappointed. Lovely walk by the river. Drop Toilet facilities.

Such a wonderful quirky store with lovely accommodation upstairs, which the owner very kindly allowed us to look through. What a great job they are doing restoring this great building.

Good gentle walk even to the lookout. This was worth the walk to get a full view of the area. Saw lizards, Dragons, beetles along the way plus birds, of course. Would love to visit in wild flower season as there were many different types of plants. No toilet facilities at this walk.

Lovely walk through changing vegetation. Flat, sandy and picturesque. Thank goodness I had my fly net otherwise I would have gone insane!

We loved this reserve. Well signposted walk and with wildflowers in bloom we really enjoyed our visit. Good basic facilities - picnic tables, shelter and drop toilets all clean.

The Malley fowl nest is still unused but great to see it and get a sense of the scale. A new orchid for us as well.

We ventured to this walk in the hope of spotting a Mallee fowl. Found the mound which appeared to have fresh scratching but wrong time of day to see the illusive bird. Gentle walk. Good facilities.

I pulled into a stop at the Pink Salt Flats in Meningie, South Australia coming back home to Melbourne. I didn't even know this existed.

After I used the toilet from hell there I braved the 45 degree heat to venture on to the salt flats to take the photos. It was a marvelous sight and therapeutic too.

A path takes you alongside the river. Green lawns on the other side! New shelters by the rowing club and a couple of great boat ramps tp launch your kayak. The river is great one for paddling no matter which way you head. Everything is clean and tidy with plenty of shady trees.

would better with an info board like I'm used to seeing in melbourne but still worth a look. you can enter reserve via ellerman st or along side on lil lil dam rd. to be honest they're better nature areas along the river but this is still nice.

A place that will take you back to another era. When Holden and Ford was king and names we do not hear anymore but all known.

Reserve is easy to access. Small donation is requested which goes towards the upkeep of this area. We ventured through the reserve early one morning bird spotting. We also spotted a flock of Emu and many Kangaroos. Wedge tail Eagle and various other birds.
