Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a lovely visit, as a group of 5 adults 2 dogs and a baby we all enjoyed it. Dog friendly is the way to go as no one is excluded. There were just a couple of areas the dogs were not allowed in, not a problem we just went in small groups while the others waited outside. As expected typical farm animals to watch, nice walk round, there was also a maize maze with views across to Caernarfon. Also tractor trailer rides the dogs were allowed to ride as well. The dogs were not allowed in the café but they have a picnic room so you can take your own food and sit inside and the café staff are happy to take your orders and bring the food through to you. We had a selection between us, of what was on offer on the menu, it was all very nice freshly made and cakes were fab. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and chatty. It is a little cheaper if you book on line. Well worth a visit. The Anglesey sea zoo is close by, would have made an earlier start and visited both on the same day, unfortunately it was not dog friendly, but there would be the possibility of doing the 2 attractions on the same day.

This is my second visit to Sea Zoo, the other being over 10 years ago. It didn't look like much if anything had changed. It's a lovely little aquarium and I did enjoy many of the exhibits.
    However
Several of the ramps are well over the advised 12 degrees making them difficult for a slightly unfit independent wheelchair user to navigate. My daughter pushed half way up one of them only to lose momentum and career backwards towards a friend who tripped over an uneven patch trying dodge. No significant injuries, but daughter scuffed xer hands up trying to hold the tyres to control xer descent and friend bruised hands and knees due to a hard landing.
From my seat down at child's eye level, I spent most of my visit straining and stretching to read any of the information as it was all at eye line with a tall adult. Much of the information was slightly water mottled making it harder to read.
Finally, we get to the "disabled toilet". Now, I know that this is a small business and the economy is difficult so investing in facilities falls below paying for the upkeep of the animals but... There is no red cord and the lock is not easy to operate from the outside in an emergency if it was possible to raise the alarm. The hand towel container was above a wheelchair user's comfortable reach as was the door lock. Finally, the toilet itself was wobbly, not an issue for myself, but could be very dangerous to someone who has poor balance and needs to transfer with no ability to recruit legs or lower core.

Visiting the CADW sites on Anglesey, stopped off at Caer Leb - a Prehistoric Castle Enclosure ruins - not a great deal to see, a few ruins and mounts in a field, partially flooded with water.
Watch out if parking outside, at there are sharp bends and the tractors driveby really fast!

Such an informative tour. I’ve been to the lovely shop many times to buy salt and other glorious presents for friends but this time caught the tour.. no wonder I love the Salt so much. I understand the process now and love the purity of the product.. a rarity in this day and age.. well done Helen Mon!
    And well done employing Sam
