Lydia, our guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasant voice to hear the stories of the studio. Sun Studio was a fun visit. The staff was courteous and efficient when purchasing tickets. The studio was filled with authentic items and I enjoyed standing in the presence of real historic rooms.

Absolutely outstanding displays. Tells the story of the Civil Rights movement very well. Displays are very well done and informative. We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it!

Very cool and fun Zoo. It's big and has a lot to see and do. Great family fun. Has a water pad and kids water play area. If you go with kids take a stroller or a carts to haul them around when there tired. It will take about 3 to 5 hours to tour and do everything. Enjoy.

It was very interesting to see the ducks come out of the elevator. I didn't get to see much as too many people were in front of me, and didn't have time to check out the fountain as had to get back to the bus.

We must all thank the brilliant people who saved this enormous piece of real estate from development. Instead, Memphis just had to develop around it.

There are paved trails throughout the park and around a lake. There are wild areas, too.

But the expanse of green is what captures you. Whatever you do in the park will be enhanced by the nature preserved there.

Nicely fine small museum. Learned a lot of history about soul and blues music. We visited as part of the Backstage pass which covers four entry fees: this one, STAX, Sun Studio and Graceland - a good deal. We enjoyed our visit and recommend the museum.

It was insightful to see the information about the underground railroad and go into the basement where the travelers would hide until it was safe for them to move on.

I had a wonderful visit to this garden. I did not go to see the temporary exhibit of Alice in Wonderland giant-size topiaries, but they were impossible to avoid. I doubt many American children have ever heard of Alice in Wonderland, unless she appears on a little screen on some app these days. However, they are smashing, and I got a big laugh from them.

The real thing real is the vast gardens, the potential to stroll in Nature, and the chance to leave your cares behind as you leave the Visitor Center. The garden is divided into different theme gardens, and I enjoyed all of them, except the rose garden. Whose Idea was it to plant roses in the Memphis climate. What a disaster.

The adult admission fee seems quite reasonable. I was sorry the restaurant was closed over the busy Fourth of July weekend. The gardens were filled with visitors, but it never seemed crowded because of the layout. They have a lovely little gift shop.

I hope to return in another season and when a few areas under construction are completely repaired. Meanwhile, carry on, Memphis Botanic Garden, and keep the plants watered in this deathly heat!

I’m so fascinated with the NBA and Memphis grizzlies that they are on my bucket list. Fortunately I was able to get directions to the FedEx forum from a police officer who was beside me at A red light. After obtaining game ticket And displaying phone information before entering, I tripped On Mat and fell on the floor. I want to thank Kelly (usher) for her concern and kindness at seating, which was very convenient and comfortable, and all the workers for their assistance in my well being after falling. I refuse medic because I was determined to see The grizzlies play.I enjoyed the game and they were dynamite. Thank you all so much, and hope I can get good seatings like that again or better, and good personnel. Betty 🤗🤗👍

This was such a quirky little stop on our trip, and we almost didn't go, but I'm so glad we did. Absolutely loved it. The outside greenery and water features are serene and quiet (it is in a cemetery, after all), and the inside is just delightfully weird and beautiful all at once. I really recommend stopping by to see it, especially early in the morning. It's really a hidden gem.

Almost directly across from the grotto is Isaac Hayes' final resting place, so if you are a fan you can also stop by to pay your respects (the location is searchable via GPS).

Well, you can’t walk on water, but you can walk over the Mississippi River. This is a well-lit, well patrolled pedestrian bride that is a fun crossing for anyone looking for an easy outdoor activity in Memphis. Walkers go from the state of Tennessee to Arkansas, a one mile distance each way.

We went on a Sunday, and there were a lot of bicycles, joggers, strollers, etc. There was no river traffic, except a huge barge pushing north and a tourist stylized steamboat headed south. A freight train passed us on the walk back. Plenty of parking on the Memphis side of the bridge. No charge. Closes at 10 PM.
