I can highly recommend Durdle Door the beach is easily accessible from the car park and the gentle waves make a wonderful place for a swim at Christmas, yes, icy cold, but fresh.
Chesil beach vew is unique and should try the cark park opposite chesil beach.There are wind surfing and kite flying activities with licence.It was windy and cold otherwise it was a unique view of beach.

It's good and safe for dog walkers, health walkers - a lovely little Healthy Walkers' group meets near the loos at 12 noon every Friday for a reasonably gentle walk round the park, and is both popular and friendly.
