... croquet lawn (a great spot for working on our cartwheeling skills) we were suddenly struck by a rather marvelous view of a beautifully laid-out garden with plenty of fountains and topiaries and a lovely orangery.
... and attractive house in a lovely countryside location, with a very informative tour guide made this a memorable day out, spoilt only by the curried chutney in the cheese sandwich from a lovely cafe on site.
