What travellers are saying
- Deborah M LongWest Jefferson, NC7 contributionsLoved the shady trails in Sea Pines. We rode all week and even one time from Salty Dog to Harbortown. This is the reason we like HHI!Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Pointy1020East Syracuse, New York27 contributionsLoved this beach. Family of 5 - ages 10-11. Free parking (if you arrive before 10,fills fast). 40 dollars for two nice chairs under Umbrella.
The sand bar here goes out with a slight decline for a great distance - kids were excited to be standing easily far out. Sand is clean/soft. Great beach day!Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - BriLenexa, KS1 contributionWe went to the museum for the marine invertebrates program. It was very fun and informative for my kids (ages 3,6,7). Would recommend! They got to touch a few different creatures and were entertained for about an hour.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- travel4funx6Midwesterner9 contributionsThis was a nice morning spent enjoying nature. We spent about 2 hours here walking the trails and seeing the Ibis rookery. Would be a great place to bike ride as well.Written 10 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Barb H515 contributionsThis is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the boardwalks, the water areas, the Indian circle and much more...you can spend a lot of time here or not so much..depending on the weather and your interest, and you can ride your bikes in here or take a horse back ride. You will see lots of flora and fauna in here, great place to let kids run around!Written 7 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David W8 contributionsThis area has a few upscale shops, souvenirs of Hilton Head and a good blend of restaurants.
Walk around, enjoy the sights, sound and people watch. Then grab a bite and drink and listen to music ( most places have afternoon or nightly entertainment. Perfect area to visit.Written 2 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - WorldTravelLover99Jacksonville, FL94 contributionsHate to give it the excellent rating. I would prefer to keep it as a hidden gem. It is nice and well maintained.Written 10 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Michael AChesapeake, VA902 contributionsShelter Cove is a beautiful shopping and dining area built around a big marina. Great views of the boats and the salt marshes. Nice way to spend some time on Hilton Head.Written 21 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Linda DGrand Cayman10 contributionsThe pickleball courts were in pristine condition, all 24 of them. Each morning they ran a exceptionally well organized round robin which accommodated players from 4.5 to beginner with ease and good competitive matching. We were there in late May: playing from 10:00 to 1130 was exhausting due to the high heat and humidity. They start the round robins earlier in summer due to the weather. Players and staff were friendly and made for a wonderful experience.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Constance KWaterford, MI10 contributionsInteresting mock up village of the first free town during the Civil War era. By the Salt Marsh walk out observation deck is a beautiful bench dedicated by authoress Toni Morrison.Written 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ChristyAtlanta, GA4 contributionsI attended several daily masses, confession, and Sunday masses and felt quite at-home here. Thanks be to God for this church and their priests!Written 14 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lead2829North Lawrence, OH261 contributionsNice, clean beach with plenty of space. Only complaint was all the bikes. With young kids darting to and from the ocean, you are on constant guard.Written 16 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
