- Carla R B37 contributionsThis plane is a must visit for everyone. It is breathtaking. Only open to the public for 3 hours at a time bc they also do weddings and events. - Alice D79 contributionsMy friends and I drove up to Caesars Head State Park while visiting Greenville. We started at the Visitor's Center and overlook. The ranger we spoke with was helpful, the bathrooms were convenient and the view was spectacular!
We then drove ~1 mile down the road and hiked the trail to Raven Cliff Falls. It was a beautiful day for a hike and we enjoyed the winding trail through the woods. The falls are opposite the overview at the end of the trail. We brought binoculars and got a good look plus some good pictures. The trail is a little over 4 miles out and back; it's moderate hiking.

The first half of the hike there's plenty of water for the dogs but you may want to take some extra for later in the hike. Too bad it just stops with not much view but overall it was lovely along the way. Slow incline but definitely up hill most of the way. There are water falls along the way too. Some of the rocks get VERY slick as the water travels over, so we had to watch the dogs carefully on that part.
