This plane is a must visit for everyone. It is breathtaking. Only open to the public for 3 hours at a time bc they also do weddings and events. So be sure to look up the times they are open to the public. But the view is amazing.

My friends and I drove up to Caesars Head State Park while visiting Greenville. We started at the Visitor's Center and overlook. The ranger we spoke with was helpful, the bathrooms were convenient and the view was spectacular!
We then drove ~1 mile down the road and hiked the trail to Raven Cliff Falls. It was a beautiful day for a hike and we enjoyed the winding trail through the woods. The falls are opposite the overview at the end of the trail. We brought binoculars and got a good look plus some good pictures. The trail is a little over 4 miles out and back; it's moderate hiking.
We look forward to returning in the future and checking out more of the trails in this state park.

Glad we made a trip to come see this amazing spectacular view of the mountain from up a gigantic artful rock that you just simply love the lovely breeze against your face and the sight seeing is a beautiful place to be in. A must see, enjoy the fresh air from up above.

Great hiking trail close to town. Not too long, but gives enough time to enjoy the creek and the trees. Super relaxing during the week with next to no one there.

So many beautiful native plants and it was a terrific day. The first half of the hike there's plenty of water for the dogs but you may want to take some extra for later in the hike. Too bad it just stops with not much view but overall it was lovely along the way. Slow incline but definitely up hill most of the way. There are water falls along the way too. Some of the rocks get VERY slick as the water travels over, so we had to watch the dogs carefully on that part. Also, it's pretty muddy at the top; after the recent rains it became sort of swampy; take the bug spray.

This wildlife management area has a decent amount of game trails and clearings to hunt. There is also a stocked lake with trout, bass, and bream.
