Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came to Terrigal for the day and enjoyed the most time at the beach which was closer to the Pavillion. That was a very child friendly beach with picnicking area. Clean beach with low waves so very safe. Saw pelicans about probably due to the boat ramp and fisherman in the area

The walk up The Skillion certainly gets the heart pumping and it’s a great bit of exercise. To make it a little easier there is a concrete pathway with seats if you need to rest. When you get to the top the view is spectacular. Up and down the coastline and across Terrigal. Well worth the visit.

A large attractive beach suitable for all ages. SLS club, cafes and fish and chip shops, public toilets, plenty of seating and parking.

The boardwalk is such a lovely addition in Terrigal. It connects the main beach to the smaller beach closer to the fisherman's ramp end all along the coastline. There is also a natural rockpool which ramp accessible. Enjoyed walking to and from the carpark. Great views as well and clean ocan water.

Perfect for small children and young kids. Crystal clear waters make for spying small critters easy and fascinating for the young ones. Crevices in rocks are abundant in sea life: barnacles, chitons, sea anemone, crabs and hermit crabs, sea snails. It is a bit more relaxing for those not confident in their children's swimming abilities (depending on tide).

I'm a Terrigal local; and I often pass Glenn McKimm's small gallery when I'm 'down town'. I always have a look in the gallery window, and occasionally stick my head in the door and have a look around. I absolutely love Glenn's work - he has amazing perspectives on local scenes, and his canvases, wall hangings and other media are all vibrant and eye catching. I bought a couple of cushions for my bedroom with a 'bird's eye view' of bathers on Avoca Beach a year ago; they are absolutely gorgeous and are a focal point in the room. Exhibitions change on a semi regular basis, and staff are helpful and friendly. Not the cheapest art around, but great works shouldn't come cheap. I'd love to have Glenn's vision and talent. Well worth a visit when one is in Terrigal; highly recommended.

This place has a wonderful so get there before sunset. Window seats are of course the best so you will need to book.
The carpark being near a beach and sports grounds is small and busy.
The haven provides an excellent service with fresh well prepared and presented meals.
Good rang of drinks of all kinds and a good menu selection.
Staff were attentive even thought our waiter was new to the job he did it will.
With entrees, mains, cocktails, beer and wine for two it was $260. very reasonable for the amount we had.
Uber home was the easy option with the parking and the drinks.

So good to see a local gallery with high quality original art by local people including Cath McEwin's beautiful oils. There's a great range available across different price points so don't be afraid to wander in and have a look around. The staff are friendly and not at all pretentious.

Highly recommend The Stretch Lab. My family have been going to The Stretch Lab since they opened in Newcastle. The service is amazing. It has now become part of my regular maintenance and recovery. Hanna is able to give me a full-body stretch that I could never do by myself at home. Highly recommend.

On a recent girls weekend, Angela come to our holiday house in Noraville for massages. We all commented how great the massages were (particularly with several of us also having regular massages at home). A great service to finish our weekend away. Would definitely rebook with Angela when we’re back in the Central Coast area. Thank you.
