Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kids absolutely loved it, and enjoyed feeding the animals and petting the echidna. George the goose was a delight and I even got to hand feed emus which was an interesting experience.

I understand that it's a non-for-profit so they're limited by how much they can do, but feels like some signs with the maps or arrows would be useful. It wasn't obvious where you're supposed to go to and whether you've covered the entire ground. Also add some hand sanitisers around? There are wild animals in there and the only option to clean was go to the toilet and wash there.

Finally, the fences have a very dense pattern to them, and if the sun shines on them it makes it very hard to see what's inside. This is obviously an issue in many zoos and not sure what's the solution. Paint them black? Add shade on top so sun doesn't reach them?

Really nice restaurant in superb location overlooking the wharf and ocean. The food is really very good and a great selection of fresh seafood.

The short point beach / lookout is a must at sunrise and sunset. Really nice seats and lookout in the reserve to watch the surf. The short walk to the look out at sunrise is worth the early wake up great for dogs and family’s.

nice soft sand with 4km worth of beach to enjoy. great for boogie boarding if you like that sort of thing and depending on the day they have great markets. I walked from Merimbula to Pambula and I would say doing that walk is much better than the board walk (bring food otherwise you will regret it aha)

Scenic, safe beach for toddlers, great for kayaker & a favorite with surfers (they launch at the head to cross the channel to reach the waves). Has a popular kiosk with room to sit alongside & view the ocean.
