Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took a snorkel tour to gain access to the outer lagoon snorkel spots, so that we could avoid an 2k+ swim out and back in cool September water.

Kayla and Dean took the glass bottom boat over 2 reefs before dropping the snorkelers off for an easy drift snorkel (drop off at one end and then collected at the other) and a second bommie snorkel.

They gave out great info about the Island, its lagoon and marine critters, and could answer any questions asked.

The tour was efficient, and they were skilled at keeping everyone safe within the boat and during snorkeling.

We'd do this snorkel tour again.

I had the pleasure of joining this very informative tour on the STUNNING island of Lord Howe!
Pete, the host, is a talking encyclopaedia! His depth of knowledge and passion for the island and his lovely island wife runs deep.
I highly recommend all visitors to participate in this “good value all round tour”.
You will not be disappointed and the views are memories to capture for a life time.
    Thank you Pete and Janine.

From the moment of arrival at the meeting point we were welcomed by one of their friendly staff. Indeed all the staff members were extremely friendly and so knowledgeable. Not only were we taken to see the wonders of the pyramid but we also saw dolphins and were taken on a circumnavigation of Lord Howe. Seeing many spots one can’t see from the mainland. We also saw a close up the Admiralty islands. Overall a great tour and highly recommended.

A fantastic experience, swimming with the turtles. Anthony provides a lot of information, not just about turtles but about the history, flora and fauna of this unique island. An experience not to be missed

We did the Discovery Tour walk which goes through Stevens Reserve and the Lagoon Foreshore.

This was a wonderful trip into a tranquil forest full of amazing trees and native birds. Jae was a very informative guide and spoke about the natural surrounds in a passionate and interesting way. The tour included refreshments (tea, coffee, cordial, biscuits and lollies) which was very thoughtful and generous.

It was easy to arrange the tour and Jae was very friendly and accomodating, and picked us up from our accommodation.

Highly recommend for anyone interested in learning about the plant life, animals and geology of Lord Howe Island.

Just a fabulous tour. We were on the boat with another family with young children and Peter allowed a slightly later start so both our child and the other families child could have a lunchtime nap. Peter was engaging and informative and loved answering questions. We saw turtles, lots of fish an even a small reef shark. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend for families with toddlers as they LOVE the glass bottom boat.

Thank you so much Jack for the guided hike up Mt Gower.

A long 9 hour day, with a challenging hike to the summit.
There were 13 fellow hikers on the hike, and that you got every single one of us to the summit and back down safely is a testament to you. I loved hearing your stories, your ability to "call in" the birds, and your commitment and caring for the Island and everything to do with the local ecology.

Your ability to say it as it is, and to take the time to communicate with every single of us of the duration of the hike was first class.

A long day, but extremely enjoyable and memorable.

Loved the sunset cruise with Brad and Connor from Sea lord Howe! They helped my son and I catch so many fish and the whole experience in the water was so exhilarating. We caught many fish 🐟 and enjoyed it thoroughly! This is life for sure!

Lord Howe Island is as spectacular under the water as it is above and Howea Divers made the experience fantastic. Brian and his crew know the dive sites so well and can choose the best site for the day making your diving comfortable and easy. Their experience is fantatsic and their help and professionalism outstanding. The diving is varied and everysite has something unique. The dive master will guide you or if you prefer and are comfortable you can go in with your buddy. It is a photographers paradise and the crew are careful and helpful with cameras. I will return and totally recomend diving at Lord Howe and with Howea Divers.

We had a wonderful experience with Love Lord Howe's babysitting service. It was our first ever babysitter for our 4 month old son and Danielle took it upon herself to look after him personally - given his age and the babysitters she had available, she thought this was the best match. And it certainly was! Our son had a lovely afternoon and was so cared for, and we were able to relax and enjoy a Deep Sea Fishing trip for an afternoon. Danielle was very flexible with arrangements (our tour was rescheduled due to weather) and amazing at communication. She even popped over to introduce herself the day we arrived. Couldn't recommend Love Lord Howe more!

Lord Howe has one of the darkest skies in the world & on the night the Milky Way was so bright I was almost casting a shadow. We heard some fascinating facts, figures, myths & epigraphical stories dating to the dawn of modern humanity. We combined our night with a sensational grazing platter. I'd highly recommend the gazing & grazing & we'd do it again.

We attended Ian’s lecture on LHI at the museum. We got a very good understanding of LHI and why it is so special. It was well the 1 hour we spent. Would have liked to attend his bird lecture but we left the island before it was possible.
