    Great beach!
    Lovely long beach, with lots of grass behind to sit in shade. Shed for fish food purchase and snorkelling gear hire is out of action after a land slip behind it this week.

    One of Aussie top 20 walks
    Fab weather the day I went so the views from the top were wonderful.
    Not a walk for the feint hearted with ropes necessary in a number of places, and It’s a tough walk. Happy with my achievement as I was just shy of my 80th birthday

    Hire a kayak or a paddle board and get amongst it!
    Just lovely! Hire a kayak or a stand up paddle board from Lord Howe Environmental Tours or the Dive Lord Howe shops (usually $15 an hour) and enjoy an hour or so on the lagoon- head out to Rabbit Island, past the jetty and all over the lagoon. Make sure to get some fresh kingfish sashimi, kingfish croquettes or fish n chips from Benny's Fish Truck on the days he's operating (down by the jetty). That's the latest addition to the island this past year and what a delicious one it is! Can't go too wrong on Lord Howe. ;-)

    Paradise Island
    Fantastic. I always wanted to go to Lord Howe to see what it was like. It exceeded my expectations. A small paradise island that has everything

    Stunning sight in the middle of the sea.
    About a 2 hour boat ride to the rock which is 20km from the shore. Not suitable to visit if bad or very windy weather as waves can be 2-3 metres high. Turtles, dolphins and sea birds to see on the way. A must to visit if nothing else.

    Lovely views
    Lovely views, great beach, definitely worth a visit. Would be a good place to kayak as the sea is quite calm.

    Amazing Pizza
    Pizza is outstanding. Worth going when on island.
    Genuinely some of the best things crust pizza I have had in my travels.
    Was the biggest (positive) surprise in food on the island.
    Beer is also good.

    Nice sandy beach
    Nice beach, get kingfishers close to here, there are some that sit on the fence of the airport, the walk up to Transit Hill starts here.

    Wonderful fresh vegies
    We spent 6 weeks on the island in 2018. Thornleigh Farm and manager Brendan were a God send. So grateful for fresh vegies. Seasonal and pot luck what was ripe but always helpful. Couldn't recommend too highly and a great approach to gardening sustainably. Thanks TF. See you again

    A must do
    With views to die for,a course that is not crowded and a very economical hire charge for all you need. But the jewel in the crown is ‘the golfy’ their restaurant/bar. Views are magnificent especially the million dollar sunsets. From the moment u arrive you are so warmly welcomed. The food is magnificent and great service. Highly recommended as a must do dining experience at least once.

    Little Gem Boutique in the CBD
    Ash has recently taken over this fabulous little boutique in the heart of Lord Howe. It has something for every holidaymaker on the island. Great selection from arts, crafts, knick-knacks, clothing etc. We walked out with some great souvenirs for family & friends.

    Wellness retreat at Lovers Bay with Lord Howe Yoga
    I attend regular yoga classes with Nicole. When I had the opportunity to experience her retreat for the day I couldn’t wait. It was the perfect blend of yoga, meditation, nourishing food and company. The wellness workshop gave me a lot to think about & Nicole had put a lot of thought into it and the wellness guide. The location is spectacular as well! Nicole radiates warmth and positivity and the day reflected that. The time just flew by and I left feeling so much better mentally and physically. I also had the best nights sleep that I have had in years that night.

    True professionals.
    Really professional outfit, with great staff. Everything from communication with booking to looking after us on the day was spot on! Second time we've been out with them and they continue to impress.

    Great snorkelling locations at Lord Howe Island.
    The snorkelling was amazing. Good communication and locations to enjoy the sea life. Throughly enjoyed it. Provided everything required. Friendly staff.
