Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- mrdom8,527 contributionsDon't see many small free city galleries this good (probably better than Wollongong's for instance). One room for the main exhibit but it was big and it was the local art prize exhibit with a lot of great stuff. Plus they let the artists write their blurbs so you'd get the most pretentious stuff about their life and culture and love of Gosford to try to justify the very ambitious asking prices. Then you have the Japanese garden, which is great - small but well maintained with crazy numbers of koi and ducks. Would be better than Auburn's if it had some cherry trees.Written 12 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SiniirrJoensuu, Finland63 contributionsAs beautiful as ever. I visited here 13 years ago and it still looked almost the same as it looked then. If you ever come close to this spot, you really should visit. The way there is a little bit difficult, a lot of stairs up and down, but if you don't mind this, I can only recommend.Written 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Layla H1 contributionWent with my friends and had so much fun. The staff were so friendly and the course was full of exciting obstacles, slides, and jumpsWritten 20 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve PMelbourne, Australia92 contributionsGood viewing of sports (the occasional A-League’s Mariners game for me), with beautiful outlook (from the stands), through a few palm trees, to Gosford’s Brisbane Water waterfront area. One long side of the stadium gets the direct sub, so in hot weather u need to be on the shaded side. It’s a nice stroll to the grounds over grassed areas.Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SydneyKayakerSydney, Australia306 contributionsThis is a fantastic place for a relaxing family camping trip.
The camping area is very nice and only accommodates 6 spots. The bbq area is well kept and works well
The beach is wonderful and many hikes start from the beach.
The walk in to the camping spot is a long up and down hill 600m hike - be prepared for getting your gear to the site.
The big negative is that there is no fresh water available.
Great fishing from the rocks
We will definitely visit this place again.Written 29 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
