Just so unreal I don’t think words can describe how amazing it was. Was always something I wanted to do and it was a major bucket list moment!! BIGGEST THANKS to Jeff and Pam. They made it even better literally the best people ever massive shoutout to them. I got so lucky I loved their vibe and how they really took special care of me and made sure I loved every moment. They were both just so sweet I can’t thank them enough. Pam was so dedicated to getting the perfect pics and videos for me she was the sweetest and full of energy 🥺 I had so much fun with Jeff what a guy! You guys are so lucky to have them on your team. Every single person I met was just amazing. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU THANK YOU. worth every single penny I swear! Luckily it went ahead and we saw a platypus even though it was raining and the water more murky than usual.
The picnic was good, with local ingredients too.

Over the three days we learned the basic principles of surfing, safety tips and had a chance to progress our skills in the water under the supervision of the instructors. Steph, Matt, Ben and Lawrence were all really patient, encouraging and made the lessons so much fun. The vibes were amazing every day, they always kept the energy up and made sure everyone was having a great time. On the last day Angel the photographer took amazing photos of our group which we were able to purchase at the end which was a really nice touch too. Would 100% recommend Soul Surf School to anyone looking to surf for the first time or to advance their skills, we will definitely be back for more lessons in the future. - Jon C1 contributionI booked the 4 day/4 night Surf Camp and had an incredible experience. The surf instrutor crew they have is amazing.
I'm an intermediate surfer and I was pleasantly surpriced how they accommodated for me. Most of the campers are beginner surfers but they asked about my experience and was able to have an instructor work with me at my level rather than put me in with the beginner crew.
All of the instructors were genuinly nice and just great people in general. Thomas and Conor were always at a high level of froth (stoke). Sophia was a great instructor that gave me a lot of great things to work on. Nat (sp?) was extremely accomodating on Chrismas Day and was able to lend me a board on Christmas Day when there were no Surf Camps that day. I had a blast at The Pass.
I like their structure of teaching a lot. First day/first timers go in one group and get the basics. The first timers who've gone through the first day, then go into another group where they give additional, more advanced instruction. Great way to have people progress.
I enjoyed that they took us to different locations each day to be able to try different spots.

- markdbecker66Scottsdale, AZ3 contributionsOur guide Andrew Maciver was absolutely THE best! He connected well with my two teenage kids, he was prompt, knowledgeable and most importantly, flexible. We made several changes in the fly to our schedule which was created by our travel agent. Andrew even found us a great experience to do over Christmas Day which otherwise would of been a wasted touring day for us - he arranged a snorkeling tour of Julian Rocks on Byron Bay. We even brought Andre along with us even though it was his day off. He's got a great spot for beginners, where it's not too deep and you can stand up when needed. The progression has been noticeable, over the last three lessons I've learned to paddle onto the wave, ride it in and do a few turns along the way as well.
