I have always wanted to visit here and the opportunity arose. I like cricket but not over the top. It is so well done and so much fun. The history is so well done and interesting. You can’t help spending a couple of hours here. Whatever your knowledge of cricket it’s going to be enhanced. So much to see. Glad that we went.

We prebooked and did the 10.30 tour. Our main guide was Margaret who was assisted by John. We were quite a large group but everything was explained well and we were very impressed by the house and garden. It was nice to have the additional galleries with art to look at. Also the cafe and art gallery approximately a 5 minute walk away are also worth a visit. The interior of the house itself with all its contents is the real star and the garden would be even better to see on a sunny day.

Had a lovely time at the Bowral Tulip Festival! The vibrant display of tulips was truly breathtaking, even though the garden was small, it was perfectly picturesque. The cafes nearby added to the relaxing atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind in the heart of town. Well worth the $16.50 entry fee for such a colorful and peaceful experience. Highly recommend! 🌷

Went to our first 'Day on the Green' at the Centennial Vineyards and had a pretty good time. Well organised from the bus transport to the food choices available and even the WCs were not a pain! Plenty of room in the GA section and we brought comfy lawn chairs, dips, crackers & snacks. The drink prices were a tad pricey with a bottle of vino coming in at $48, I don't think the winery lost on the night? Will know what to do next visit, come earlier & do the cellar door or even the restaurant? James Taylor on his last show on Aussie soil was great and made everyone feel part of the show and overall, a great afternoon/evening was had by all.

Interesting little place with great food. Something for the entire family here. Fast, efficient service and staff who care about the customers and are genuinely glad to see them.

Lots of other art & craft things to see and do here too.

    Highly recommended.

Recently attended the opening of their annual Still Life exhibition and prize giving.
Over 100 expertly curated works and an enjoyable night out.
This slightly hidden Bowral stalwart of local artists is wonderfully maintained by super helpful, friendly locals.
As well as the gallery holding many exhibitions throughout the year, there's a host of classes to suit many interests, with teachers to suit beginners to experienced skill levels.

It's an early work in progress with a long way to go to convert the barren fields but they have a lot of space and good plans and the first patch of wildflowers is nice. Keep an eye on it, could be the pride of the highlands eventually.
