Was SO GREAT to visit a 'local' smaller, family vineyard. The wines were excellent as were the fortified. The atmosphere was lovely and after visitng the bigger, commercialed vineyards. This was the BEST by far.

This is a piece of Australian history which could have disappeared into obscurity except for the efforts of some dedicated people who have preserved the interesting history of this place. German merchant seamen were interned here during WWI, and built sturdy huts where they could pass time in various ways during the day before returning to the Berrima Jail at night. The Germans had famous regattas on the river, observed by the locals. The structures are gone, but there are markers with photographs along the trail. It's easy walking, quiet and scenic.

The friend I was with had to quickly rush outside as she felt something strange that made her feel ill. Once outside she was OK, but was not prepared to go back in. She said she is very sensitive to phenomena. Apparently 3 children had died in the house over 100 yeas ago and 1 particularly gruesome death with a child dying when he fell into an open fire. So, the place is very interesting and worth a visit during their open days. It is historic over 135 years old and well restored and looked after. Is it haunted? I did not experience anything, who knows?

Great place to start a wine tour. Good quality wines and platters and a good marker for any other wineries you might be visiting. Excellent facilities.

Visited this shop in the lead up to Christmas which provided several suggestions for small presents and stocking fillers as well as a number of items for our pantry.

There is an amazing array of jams, preserves, sauces, dressings, chutneys, aiolis, honeys, teas and much more.

    Definitely worth a visit.

Great stop on Berrima to checkout the town and my kids can sniff out a lolly shop miles away. Stumbled across the lolly swagman. Great selection of lollies from when I was a kid plus new lollies. Great selection of international lollies and basically there is something for everyone. They also have glueten free sweets. You won’t be disappointed if you stop by.

Visited this centre during a casual day trip to Berrima. Greeted by a cute "alpaca" at the entrance. They have really lovely clothing and other stuff made from alpaca wool there. Also alpaca wool in various colours. As expected, most items were expensive. Worth a visit anyway if you are in Berrima.

Shop has a fantastic selection of leather belts and aprons which are immaculate.

The skill used to make the saddles would be of the highest level.

There is also a good selection of animal fur/hides floor coverings.

    Well worth a visit.
