The trip was great! Not only because of the adorable penguins and koalas, but also Tim’s professionalism throughout the whole trip. Tim was a very informative, passionate and talkative tour guide. We also felt being looked after as Tim constantly checked with us if we knew where we were heading.
I highly recommend this tour to those who are planning to come to Melbourne!

We had a lot of fun at Phillip Island and our guide, Fred, was full of energy and enthusiasm and shared many stories with us along the way. He also made sure we were really comfortable throughout the tour. Highly recommended!

Petting the koalas and meeting the kangaroos was so fun. Seeing the penguins emerging from the sea was also magical. Chris N and Dave were very nice too

This tour was so much fun. Walter did a great job not only driving but giving us information and answering questions but the real stars of the day were the animals. Feeding the Kangaroos and Wallabies, and of course the penguins! What a day. We were lucky to see LOTS of penguins return in the evening and the vocalizations were incredible. Phillip Island is a treasure and Walter does a nice job of making sure we got to see all of the natural wonders while honoring the fragility it the ecosystem and what is being done by the rangers. We had such a great time and unfortunately it was our first tour of the trip so all other tour will have a lot to live up to.

Observing the koalas and the penguins was a special experience. Our driver and guide Maj was very friendly and helpful. The time we had at the different destinations was good.

The seals were the best part, of course! But the whole trip was lovely, as were the cruise staff, and the captain, Michael. We had such a great time, even though the weather was quite bouncy and windy on the way out there and whilst with the seals, they were very playful, and it was amazing!!
The only feedback I'd like to offer is that it would be great if the boat had lots more handrais/handhold all over for the rough weather :)

Great tour. Some very good stops on the way to Phillip island. Amazing coastal views, Wildlife sanctuary was good Seeing the wallabies in the wild was so cool. The March of the penguins was something to see.
Our tour guide Kurt was also awesome. Very informative, and funny. He really helped make the trip even more enjoyable.

We had one full day to see as much as we could. Jon was wonderful and the scenery and tour was amazing plus we added on an evening to Phillip Island, After the first part of the tour we were dropped off and Kelli continued the tour and she was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and very caring. We had problems getting around and she went out of her way to where we needed to be.Our day around Melbourne is one we will never forget.

I have done several whale watching cruises overseas but this was our first trip in Australia and it was equal if not better than the overseas ones. We where fortunate to see a whale as it’s a bit hit and miss if the whales are sighted. Not only did we see a humpback whale but also saw pods of juvenile seals and common dolphins. The staff on the boat where very helpful with information about the area and the wildlife we saw. It was cold but you could stay inside until the wildlife was sighted. Morning tea and a light lunch plus tea and coffee was included in the ticket. If you have any dietary requirements if you advised these when booking they where catered for. I had a lovely time and would highly recommend this cruise.

I chose this tour based on reviews I had read on this site as well as other sites. I was traveling solo so I definitely wanted a smaller, more intimate group. This was perfect. There were 12 of us on this tour and for 2 days, we had a blast. Our tour guide, Kelly, was an amazing asset because of his knowledge of the history of Australia and his passion for sharing his beautiful country. He even had a playlist ready for the road trip. I loved the fact that we started at the furthest spot away from Melbourne on the Great Ocean Road and worked our way back to Bells Beach and then on to Phillip Island. This tour encompassed all the highlights of a great tour: ocean, hiking, nature watching, scenic drives, must see spots, and a small group where friendships are quickly made. We stayed overnight at a hostel in Bells Beach and that was a highlight. Great walk to the beach to watch the stars, hostel owner is great, and there's even a resident black lab that everyone loves. This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip and worth every penny I spent.

What an amazing trip! Fred kept us entertained during the drive and the animals delivered in every way. Of course the penguins were beyond compare but the stop at moonlit was equally amazing. Kangaroos and Wallaby’s eating out your hand and open to petting. Long day but truly a must do bucket list trip!
