Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Close to town, this 40 minute walk roundtrip was quite nice. There was not so much water from the Falls but it was still nice to go to.

These are incredibly high dunes and are well worth the climb to the top. It's just under a 15 minute drive rom Strahan.

This town is amazing. There is so much to see and do and most is cost free. The walk and heritage and especially the scenery.

I have been to Tasmania and I don't know why we missed Strahan but glad we visited here on this visit.

Definitely returning again on our next visit.

This very audience interactive play is based on a real story from the convict history of the area. It is entertaining and enjoyable all ages. Our grandchildren will remember it forever: one playing Mr Hoy and the other a very entertaining jellyfish. It is so creative and clever telling the real story of an escape by convicts in a newly built boat The Frederick. They successfully escaped to South America. The actors are very versatile and entertaining using costumes and props in clever and ingenious ways. This was the second time we have seen this play after many years and wonderful that it is still running. Big applause to the Theatre Company. A big dtrawcard for local tourism in the summer months.

Two small lighthouses grace this entrance plus a small light station too. The lighthouses are of a traditional American design made of timber and are quite short (particulalry seeing they are at sea level. The best way to see them up close is to take a tour on the Wilderness boat. If you're interested in lighthouses they have a great story

Our cruise boat moored here while we enjoyed the stroll on the walkway for a short distance into the wilderness area and the viewing platform. Our knowledgeable guide gave the captain a respite as she pointed out the ancient Huon Pines and various species of trees. Very few blooms sighted and the forest does'nt seem to be an attractive abode for bird or animal life. The interpretative signage on the walkway and viewing platform was very informative. The group stopped to listen but all was silence.

Great bit of wood work for both the boat and seat, nice location to relax and admire the Harbour views. Very scenic spot and easy to find along the foreshore walking area.
