Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This walk is regarded as ‘Moderate’. I’m relatively fit, but I needed to stop a few times to catch my breath, because there’s a lot of steps and it’s quite steep. At the top there’s a boardwalk around for different views of the magnificent Wineglass Bay. We were blessed with fine weather and great photographic opportunities.
The walk back down to the car park breaks off on its own loop so you won’t expect to meet people climbing up.
There are lots of car parks but they fill up quickly!

Absolutely beautiful. I know people say you need to visit this place, but I had not idea how nice it was until we visited. Unfortunately time didn't permit a longer walk into Wineglass Bay, but maybe on a future visit! Definitely worth visiting.

    Absolutely delicious oysters!!
Tried both the natural ones, the Tasmanian flavored ones and the steamed ones with asian flavor, all top notch!!
However, way too expensive!! At 3$ each is seems really exaggerated considering they culture them next by and there’s no service (the clients do everything)
Too sad, as if not, we’ve been there twice a day;)

Very informative cruise with plenty to see. The head honcho of the organisation was skipper for this cruise so the commentary contained some personal insights which were great fun. We were lucky to see dolphins, seals, whales and a sea eagle as well as the spectacular coast of the Freycinet Peninsula.

We were booked on the lower deck which had the advantage of external access to the front of the vessel. The only downside was the bento-box lunch which didn't really match the quality of the rest of the offering. That's the only reason for my 4* rating (yes - I know - a bit mean but I do try to reserve 5*s for something that's really really excellent).

An amazing experience even in the wet. Great guide, Robert, modified the tour due to the weather and it was amazing how much ground we covered. Will recommend this to all our friends.

WOW Amazing day out led by Roshan. He picked us up on time at our accomodation. He is very knowledgeable, professionable and personable young man. We visited 4 wineries were Roshan introduced us to the winemaker and staff. The wines we tasted were great. Lunch at Devils corner was fabulous pizza followed by fresh seafood and a bottle of wine. We had a cheese platter at the final winery. We have done wine tours in QLD, WA and even in France but this was definitely the best. Highly recommend The long lunch tour as a great day and value for money. Will definitely do again if every back in the area.

We couldn’t rate this highly enough! As a family of four this was a truly special and memorable trip. It was all very organised at booking confirmation stage and also on the day. Stephen and John took us through safety and then their suggestion for the morning, they were so lovely and always let us decide if we wanted to anchor or keep on past the beaches. Their knowledge was amazing of the local landscape and waters. We saw seals up closer than ever before, a ray swam under the boat and we saw a giant sea eagles nest. We have hundreds of photos from the coves they took us to, where we jumped in to swim from the boat into clear aqua waters. John made us warm tea and hot chocolates to warm us up after swimming. If we could give 6 stars to this experience we would!!
