Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- geoffdemanserWarrnambool, Australia768 contributionsIt’s a bit of a drive to get into Freycinet but once you’re there is is completely worth it.
The visitor centre is easy to find and the park pass is well worth the donation.
Amazing place to visit. Would love to spend a few days here to really explore.
It was mild when we visited so we even had a wonderful swim at Honeymoon Bay.
Great place. Highly recommendedWritten 20 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Took us 1.5hrs return to the beach. Not for those that are unfit of have knee or hip issues as lots of steps and uneven walking surfaces. Suitable for kids (tweens/teens -my three did it no issues ) maybe not for little kids. As beautiful as I thought it would be!Written 28 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Shirley CAdelaide, Australia150 contributionsStayed at a beautiful accommodation overlooking Richardsons Beach, took a relaxing walk from the Bay over to the Freycinet Lodge for dinner and drinks.
It was a perfect night and a perfect walk across the sands of the beach picking up shells on our way, would be great for the kidsWritten 11 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
