Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Might be one of our favourite things we did on our trip. It's all volunteer run, so, completely free but donations are welcomed to help with little penguin conservation. I thought they were going to be hard to see or further away but they don't care about humans so they're so close you could reach out and touch them. The volunteers are seasoned experts on the Burnie little penguin colony, ask them all the questions you fancy. Make sure you rug up though because it got quite cold and windy down on the bay.

What a pleasant surprise to see the falls. Seriously a 50m walk from the carpark, accessible to everybody, even with strollers or wheelchairs. Then the falls themselves are visible from their own lookout. Do yourselves a favour and visit when you have a chance.

Google states that the reserve closes at 5:30pm, however there was a sign that said it closes at sunset which gave us more time than we thought. Plenty of car parking spaces. Toilets and picnic spots available. The reserve itself is quiet and peaceful. We didn’t see any platypus, nevertheless, enjoyed a walk.
