Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing day out with Tassie Tours Tasmania! We had done Port Arthur the day before with Andrew and did Bruny on the back of that because Andrew was fantastic!! Most incredibly delicious seafood chowder we have ever had from Hotel Bruny.
Best oysters ever with wasabi cream from Get Shucked! Amazing cheese from Cheese and Beer Co. Picked up some Black Pudding beer as well!! I could survive on Bruny with just these 2 places! And of course the scenery was breathtaking as you would expect. Thanks again Andrew you are awesome!!

I recently booked the 3-day Tasmania Highlights tour, and despite the gloomy weather, our tour guide Mark turned it into an unforgettable journey. His enthusiasm and warmth brightened our days, making the tour lively and engaging.

Mark's deep knowledge and insights about Tasmania were impressive. He continuously shared his experiences, transforming the tour into a mini learning adventure. What stood out was his ability to foster participation and interaction among the group, encouraging us to share our thoughts and experiences as well.

Mark's proactive approach in remembering and using each participant's name added a personal touch that made everyone feel included and valued. His excellent commentary was complemented by his safe driving, making the tour both enjoyable and secure.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Tasmania. Special mention to Andrew, who guided us on the last day. His professionalism and excellent sharing about Bruny Island were the perfect conclusion to our trip.

Absolutely amazing tour and experience! Picked up at the start of the tour and immediately made feel very welcome by our exceptional tour guide Tim. We visited so many incredibly beautiful and culturally significant locations and at all locations Tim was able to provide any detail you could have asked for. Walks were clearly explained and alternatives were always provided for those who didn't want to climb stairs or for those who wanted a more adventurous walk - do the walk even if you end up a little red-faced, the sense of achievement and the spectacular scenery are worth it! Tim's narrative in the bus on the drives between locations was well informed and helped me to fall more and more in love with Tasmania. While the tour is essentially non-stop, there was also opportunity to stop and just to relax and enjoy the view.

The motel/hotel accommodation was always clean and the added bonus of an electric blanket after a cooler day was always appreciated. Included meals were fresh with a number of options available and multiple courses on offer on an evening. On the days where we fended for our selves we were given plenty of opportunity to stop and pick up supplies, including at the southern most vineyard in Australia and plenty of ice cream stops.

The whole experience was exceptional and made even better by Tim. The tour group of likeminded travellers who wanted to see the raw beauty and history of the beautiful island added to the experience.

If I could go back right now and do the tour again I would not hesitate in doing it all again and following the other path to discover more beauty.

We were looking for a tour that would allow our group of four to see as much of Tas that we could cram in. I found Adventure Trails Tasmania and liked the sound of the flexibility Ben was happy to incorporate.

We were after mornings of bushwalks and hikes, and afternoons sampling food, wineries and distilleries… no problem, said Ben. We were keen to experience the diversity of nature SE Tas provided… no problem, said Ben. We were keen to sample whiskies and gins, Pinots and Sav Bs… no problem, said Ben. He provided a range of options and we formed a plan over email - clear, responsive, accommodating.

The actual experience? Even better. You will not meet a more knowledgeable guide, who will adjust and tweak daily based on needs of his guests. He shares of himself and his experiences, seems to have an infinite number of contacts who know and respect him. He is thoughtful, and quite frankly, goes well beyond what any tourist could reasonably expect. We felt valued, we felt appreciated and we felt like friends.

    Ben Andrews, Adventure Trails Tasmania.

    7 out of 5 stars.
