Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hike to down to the base of the falls has all you can want in a short hike: stunning views, interesting vegetation, fascinating rock formation (especially on the Undercliff Trail). It took us 90 minutes round trip, though the legs were burning on the initial steep ascent from the base of the falls.

This is a very accessible lookout point. Unlike a lot of the other lookouts which are set deep in the bushland, this one is located close to the carpark at Wentworth Falls Picnic Area. It sits off to the side of the road along Sir H Burrell Drive.
We simply parked in the free picnic area carpark and walked down the road to the lookout.
What you find here, is a wide and open platform, with central seats and a panoramic view down over the Jamison Valley towards Mount Solitary.
It’s a nice view but not as stunning as other lookout points.
There is a second lookout point a little further along the road, Wentworth Falls Lookout, which has better views.
Several bushwalking tracks start from this point. A large information board near the lookout, has an excellent map of the area and information about six different trails.
We followed the Fletcher’s Lookout-Wentworth Falls Track which led us right down to the waterfall. Here, we were able to walk on large stepping stones across Jamison Creek along the top of the falls. It was a real highlight.
