Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took a group of 32 people to this museum. What a collection of items from past history. Ian and all off the wonderful volunteers provided us with lunch - lovely fresh country homemade sandwiches and slices. Thanks to all.

This is the best tourist information we have ever been to & Barb is an absolute gem & she not only gave us all the information we needed about Gunnedah but also provided info about Werris Creek, our next destination. Barb was also kind enough to take our photo next to the brilliant Rainbow serpent. This is such a contrast to Sydney, where the excellent Rocks tourist centre has closed down & the Customs House office is understaffed & underfunded, well done Gunnedah its been a pleasure to visit.

This mural is worth the visit however also don’t miss the Gunnedah information centre and the unique use of an old water tower.

This is certainly worth a visit to gain a sense of the dimensions of the Liverpool Plains area as you look south towards the Breeza Plains and east to the Great Divide and the Nandewar Ranges.

Beautiful park and wonderful way to see Gunnedah. The respect for the Aboriginal peoples of the land is just inspiring and such an important part of of the overall experience. I take my hat off to these small NSW towns doing so much to pay their respects.

The only problem with this museum is it's limited opening hours. Lots of interesting stuff and friendly volunteers

If I have the chance I will pick The Civic above all other cinemas for one of the best big screen experiences. I don’t know if it’s the screen size, the projection throw, the seat raking or the comfy seats but I’m yet to find a cinema that equals The Civic for watching on the big screen. My favourite place to watch a movie!

This museum is a must visit. Pip gave us a very informative presentation on the life of Dorothea Mackellar. A most interesting part of the visit is the 32 piece Watercolour collection by Jean Isherwood each depicting a verse in Dorothea's famous poem.

The Gunnedah Golf Course is great for a day out playing golf. Good reliable buggies to travel around the course. Not crowded over the Easter break.
