What travellers are saying
- Peter M2 contributionsWell, what an experience that was. Big thanks to Alistair our expert guide, who was a mine of information about the whole operation. The initial orientation is a must. And keep asking questions to the guys and gals manning the exhibits, they’ll love it, and you’ll learn a whole lot more.
Live steam weekends are the ones to go for. Our North American cousins will never experience live steam up so close and personal.
You may even have the pleasure of meeting some SteamPunks en route.
Thanks to all the volunteers who make this possible.
Cheers

We got to see three birds and fly two (owl and Harris hawke) Dave and his team are really knowledgable and friendly and is so clearly passionate about his business. I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested in birds and seeing these beautiful animals up close. We bought our tickets for a 2hr experience from Groupon and it was an absolute steal. A really nice way to pass an afternoon.
I’d firmly recommend good bottom shoes like wellies or walking boots for the field part as it was a bit muddy, and definitely bring a coat.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MarkNicholls44The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, UK27 contributionsIt was nice but service at the cafe was a bit slow considering it wasn't that busy.

- GeorgeWalkerOBEAberdeen, UK16 contributionsWhat a truly lovely place to be and thing to do on a wet winter's morning. Experience finished off superbly with a first class farmer's breakfast served in the Shepherd's Hut. As for Gus the Goat! He deserves a full five stars all to himself đź‘Ť.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Plenty of places for sitting, fishing and picnics.

The football was mediocre but entry and exit was a breeze and the facilities were good. My other half enjoyed some faggots with mushy peas before kick off.Written 1 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kat R29 contributionsBeen many a time, and always a great beer - sundowner and imperial being stand outs. Fab prices too.... And they allow you to have your fish and chips in from the local chippy, and if you ask nicely will normally supply you with plates and cutlery too! Only open on a Friday night or for events ... Strong recommend!Written 1 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tina MAtlanta, GA40 contributionsI visit this gallery when I am in the area. It is charming, full of amazing artists and a peaceful atmosphere. One of my favorite art galleries in the Midlands at Barton Marina England, Gallery 3. It is where they have had a nice collection of Mr Brainwash who was in the Bansky documentary and another fantastic street artist Yuvi. Other wonderful artists like Simon Kenny, Stephen Graham, Keith Proctor, Fabian Perez and Emilija Pasagic have had their art represented there. Staff like Meghan, who is the kind, accommodating and knowledgeable, make this an extra special place and visit!Written 15 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nikki_dynanDerbyshire, UK12 contributionsI absolutely love this place everytime I go! Value for money is so good - they put so many little extras on during the holidays. Today my daughter got to feed the lambs, twice! The staff are all amazing and so kind and chatty! We talked to one lady about the pregnant sheep and she was informative. We had such a fun day, everything is in good condition and the animals are well looked after. There’s so much to do and I just can’t rate it enough!!Written 20 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
