#1 of 12 Sights & Landmarks in St Albans
The reconstructed shrine of St Alban provides a prayer space for those who want to visit the site as a pilgrimage, and the new statues of the martyrs are a good reminder that it is a living church.
... is a great way to learn about this beautifully peaceful place of worship and there is even a tour to the top of the tower with over 220 narrow steps, but worth the climb for the spectacular Hertfordshire views!
