The play area is a fantastic place for children and plenty of picnic benches for mums and dads small shop for that essential ! Icecream, and of course toilets. Its well kept, yet wild plenty of wildlife to spot and paddeling opportunities. There is quite a lot of variety for the children including a tall wavy slide, a separate area for football/basketball, a separate area for under 3's with a ball pool, soft animal faces to fit in gaps in the wall, soft ride on toys. There are also other bits and bobs (coin-operated) like a dance machine, a bus the little ones can go on like you see outside amusement arcades, air hockey, little plastic eggs with a toy inside. Very friendly pro shop, super breakfasts, everything prepared fresh. Plenty of parking. The fairways, greens and bunkers were all in excellent condition. There are a number of challenging holes here. You have water trees and fast greens. We found a friendly, warm, traditional pub and one of the oldest buildings in Haverhill. Three perfectly served cask ales on offer, in excellent condition.
