- Wendy C3 contributionsHad an amazing adventure on the train from Goolwa to Victor Harbor. Twilight with decorated train. Father Christmas gave all the kids a lolly stocking and was happy to pose for photos. Attendants on the train were great.
Just one down side, we did not get back to Goolwa until close to 10.30 and the train was full of young children including my 5 year old. We didn't leave VH until 9.45pm, way too late. We had nothing much to do in VH and were there for well over an hour. Nothing but icecream shop open, sideshows were just closing and taking no new patrons so it was boring for 5 year old. Better if we could have left by 9pm and got home before our child fell asleep. Something to think about next year. - Jodie W1 contributionWhat an amazing experience! The wealth of knowledge Daryl has about McLaren Vale if phenomenal. Every winery he suggested was 10/10, his recommendation of Woodstock for lunch was 100/10 - nothing disappointed us.
