Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- 456brianlAdelaide, Australia225 contributionsWe were welcomed by the beautiful almond blossoms in season. As we approached the restaurant, friendly staff greeted us from afar and took us to a table.
Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere. I suppose everyone dined in with feed me menu as we didn’t see a la carte option.
We started with bread and butter then shared an entree. Followed by sharing a meatballs pasta, beef cheeks and veggie. That’s for $95 per person. Dessert is additional cost. Based on our regular eating out, this was definitely on the pricey side. Another shared entree would have justified the price.
Wine by glass was reasonable priced and generously poured.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience, staff were absolutely lovely, and nice atmosphere.Written 4 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CasandraTPSydney, Australia4,231 contributionsFruChocs are quintessentially South Australian, they are chocolate coated apricot & peach lollies and taste fantastic. The store is full of the different varieties of lollies that Menz make. My favourite is the white chocolate raspberry variety. There is fun merchandise and you can see some of the machinery that produces them. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting McLaren Vale.Written 5 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
