Our Featured sort order ranks tours, activities, and experiences by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, your individual user browsing history and preferences while using Tripadvisor, the frequency of user clicks generally, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
I was traveling on my own and really enjoyed the company of like minded people. Danny's jokes during the day made us laugh. The wineries we visited were excellent and the wines were outstanding. Very relaxed pace but still got back to the city on time. Highly recommended.
The car was comfortable and the guide was very friendly and helpful. If you were easy to get a carsickness, you might need to take anti-sickness medication. It was quite cold along the coast, so a jacket would be essential even in summer. Also, if you have plans after the tour, it is advisable to allow plenty of time.
A wonderful day out at beautiful McLaren Vale. Shane was a great guide who arranged everything for us beforehand and then executed it with a great running commentary and excellent sense of humour.
Highly recommend this tour by Nick. Compared to Barossa, McLaren Vale is way way better - great cellar doors, fab views, and wine to die for. We visited Oliver Tauranga Winery, Samson Tall, Richard Hamilton, and Sparrows Cottage. Great selections on offer, Michelle from Sparrows Cottage is a champ - knowledgeable and genuinely passionate. Am happy as Larry!
Fabulous Day out with Bronnie as our guide. Bronnie was top notch, very knowledgable and helpful. This was a great way to visit some fabulous vineyards and we would happily go and again to visit some of the ones we didn't go in to. Great day, well organised relaxed and enjoyable.
Had a great day visiting different vineyards and wineries. Love trying different kinds of wines. Roger was very helpful and excellent in driving and gave us some info about wine history and vineyards as well.
Amazing way to see the McLaren Vale and Port Noarlunga to Moana beaches. Hills are breeze on the Ebike’s, fantastic service from Shayne & Racheal with a drop off and pick up service from our accommodation. We rode from port Noarlunga with breaky at dukes Moana. Then to Willunga on the bike paths visited Battle of Bosworth, The Salopian Inn for Karena’s dumpling and pork buns which are legendary oh and the summer gin cocktail. Then onto The Never Never gin distillery for a relaxing gin in the sunshine. Followed up with a trip to the cube to see the Salvador Dali Art and of course the cube itself. Then a sunset ride home along the esplanade’s bike path. Top 10 life experiences!!
The d'Arenberg is quirky, all round great place to visit. We booked online, so a small queue on arrival. Wine tasting was great and we even bought some bottles, we also pre-booked a two course lunch, fabulous food and the the Dali exhibition is excellent. Everywhere you look at d'Arenberg there is something to see. Pre book, it was really busy. We loved it.
With Dragan as our friendly and professional driver we visited four high quality wineries. The day was planned for us by Bob and resulted in a day that all of us will not forget. High quality at a very reasonable cost.
George took my wife and I on a simply amazing day tasting wine through the McLaren Vale. While we were a bit time crunched, needing to get back to our cruise ship, we were still able to get four wineries, some breakfast, and great lunch in during the day. George couldn’t have been any friendlier and the best guide. We’ll definitely use him again if we make it back to Adelaide.
