Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Dinah B6 contributionsThe hospitality, unique experience and value for money were excellent. Eighteen family members took the ‘Mother’s Day trip’ from Mannum to Murray Bridge for 5 hours. The boat had 32 guests and we always had plenty of room to sit down at each space on the Marion. There were both indoor and outdoor options on each of the 3 levels and live music on the top level. All the family had a wonderful relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed it.Written 15 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - julia dAdelaide, Australia23 contributionsI could do this all day, riding back and forth across the Murray on the ferries is a restorative experience. Friendly and competent ferry operators add to the experience.Written 2 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nera0414Greater Adelaide, Australia552 contributionsThe day we used the reserve, it was quite windy so too cool for a picnic but the bakery was only a short walk away and provided both hot coffee and hot pies/sausage rolls etc. (Their cakes were just an "add on"!!)Written 10 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ida AAdelaide Hills, Australia29 contributionsNice walk through bushland. It is difficult to reach the upper section of the falls if you park in the lower carpark. It is better, and easier, to leave time to visit both carparks and experience both ends of the falls.

- AnnMarieGraceAdelaide, Australia655 contributionsThis is a great Visitor Information Centre, they were helpful in the local area and had lots of excellent advice.
The Mannum Dock Museum is attached to the visitor centre and there were great trip souveniers and local products that were able to be purchased from here.

Tons of shopping to top up the supplies of the many shack owners and houseboat dwellers you discover once you cross the mighty Murray on the punt. The gateway to freedom and a cascade of weeping willows serenading the Murray. - H3810GAheatherw4 contributionsMy husband and I did the 7 night Upper Murraylands cruise and what a wonderful experience we had. This cruise exceeded our expectations from our lovely stateroom and it's extra trimmings to the wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us feel a part of their Princess family to the amazing and too plentiful food we enjoyed to all the off boat experiences we loved. We've waited many years to do this trip and everything about it was well worth the wait. The boat itself is just beautiful and the slow cruise through a beautiful and ever changing part of South Australia is peaceful and ever so relaxing. We are so proud that we have this in our State. We opted to pay a little more for a Stateroom and are very glad that we did and would really recommend it....we had loads more space, a fridge with mini bar, coffee machine and flowers in the room on arrival. The invitation to pre dinner drinks and nibbles with the Captain one night was also a lovely treat. Thanks Murray Princess for an amazing holiday.Written 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ICJCMJMawson Lakes, Australia52 contributionsUnforgettable 11, 12 guests, 6 ensuite rooms, heaps of area to relax, rest & quiet time which was excellent. Cleaning standard throughout was average. Plenty of fridge space & kitchen items for use. Bedroom 2 ensuite doors don’t close, exhaust fan doesn’t work & wardrobe door and drawer laminate need repairing. Enjoyable way to spend downtime floating along the great River Murray without the outside pressures of everyday life. Bird life is plentiful.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
